Girls championship

(1) Manasquan 59, (2) St. Rose 55

In the final game of her brilliant career, senior Marina Mabrey poured in 36 points, 26 in the second half, to go with 12 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2 steals to lead the Warriors (29-4) to their second Tournament of Champions title and their first since 2012.

Manasquan became the first public school program in Shore Conference history to win multiple TOC titles and only the second in state history besides Shabazz. Sophomores Stella Clark and Victoria Galvan each added seven points in the win, which was the second in three meetings with St. Rose (32-2) this season.

In the final game of her own outstanding career, St. Rose senior Jess Louro had a team-high 20 points and 7 rebounds, and her younger sister, sophomore Jen Louro, added 14 points. Freshman Elizabeth Marsicano chipped in with 11 points and 5 assists, and senior Kat Phipps ended her great career with eight points.

Boys championship

Kentucky-bound senior guard Isaiah Briscoe poured in a game-high 27 points and freshman forward Nazreon Reid, an Asbury Park resident, added 12 points on 5-for-7 shooting as the Lions (28-4) beat the Lions (30-4) to capture their second Tournament of Champions title in three seasons and second overall.

Guard Matt Bullock added a game-high 12 rebounds for Roselle Catholic. Syracuse recruit Moustapha Diagne led Pope John  with 15 points and had nine rebounds, forward Jeromy Rodriguez had 13 points and 11 boards, and guard James Scott finisiehd with 10 points in the loss.
