Eleven wrestlers from Region VI earned seeds in the top two on their respective halves of the bracket for the NJSIAA Individual Tournament, which was seeded on Monday at the NJSIAA headquarters in Robbinsville.

Wall's Brett Donner, who was third in the state last season at 160 pounds, is seeded first in the bottom bracket at 170 pounds as the Region VI champion. Region runner-up Zach Hertling is seeded second in the top bracket at 170. The Ocean senior was fourth at 120 pounds as a freshman and third at 132 pounds as a sophomore.

Keansburg senior Tyree Sutton, who on Saturday became the Titans' first Region VI champion is the No. 1 seed in the bottom bracket at 195 pounds. He is looking to become Keansburg's first state champion in program history.

At 113 pounds, Christian Brothers Academy junior Sebastian Rivera is the No. 2 seed in the bottom bracket. Rivera was fifth in the state at 106 pounds last season.

Toms River South junior Owen McClave, a two-time Region VI champion, is the No. 2 seed in the top bracket at 120 pounds, while three-time Region VI champ, Jackson Liberty senior Mike Russo, is the No. 2 seed in the top bracket at 126 pounds.

At 182 pounds, both Brick senior Dean Sherry, a two-time Region VI champion, and Toms River South senior Joe Salvato were seeded second. Sherry is in the top bracket and Salvato is in the bottom bracket.

Middletown North junior Chad Freshnock is the No. 2 seed in the bottom bracket at 220 pounds. At heavyweight, Brick Memorial sophomore Nick Rivera is the No. 2 seed in the bottom bracket and Jackson Memorial senior Brody Graham is the No. 2 seed in the top bracket.
