The NJSIAA has released its first set of power point rankings for wrestling. The rankings are based on results through Sunday January 3.

The power points formula (on page five of the regular season section) is used to determine the qualifying teams for the NJSIAA Team Championship. The top six teams in each section make the tournament.

Four Shore Conference teams are ranked first their respective sections: Howell in Central Jersey Group V, Southern in South Jersey Group V, Raritan in Central Jersey Group II and Christian Brothers Academy in South Jersey Non-Public A.

Central Jersey Group IV has a major Shore Conference presence with six of the top seven teams.
