(6) Donovan Catholic 68, (11) Toms River North 37

Senior guard Chelsea Crowe dropped in a game-high 23 points, junior guard Kaitlyn Borghesi added 12 and Annie Taylor chipped in with 10 as the Griffins (2-0) rolled past the Mariners into the quarterfinals.

Ashley Tutzauer had 11 points and Amanda Johnson added 10 to lead Toms River North.

(5) Colts Neck 49, (12) Manchester 44

Elise Brown went 5-for-6 from the foul line in the fourth quarter on her way to a game-high 17 points to help the Cougars hold off the Hawks and advance to the quarterfinals.

Cara Volpe added 10 points in the win for Colts Neck, while guard Lyric Green matched Brown with 17 points for Manchester. A'Liagh Moore added 11 in the loss for the Hawks.

(3) Red Bank Catholic 77, (14) Toms River South 18

Sophomore Maureen Coakley scored a game-high 15 points and the Caseys beat the Indians to advance to next Saturday’s WOBM Classic quarterfinals. The Caseys stormed out to a 23-4 lead after one quarter and built a 42-7 lead by halftime.

Senior Alex Barazotti scored all 12 of her points in the first half and freshman Hayley Moore also poured in 12. Caseys starting guard Tia Montagne left the game in the first half with a left leg injury and did not return.

(4) Freehold Twp. 46, (13) Toms River East 38

The senior duo of Tori Wagner and Sam Famulare combined for 35 points and the Patriots overcame a one-point halftime deficit to survive the No. 13 Raiders. Wagner scored 11 of her game-high 18 points in the second half while Famulare hit five 3-pointers and finished with 17 points. Juniors Harile Kneler (eight points) and Megan Schulman (three) were the only other scorers on the Patriots.

Senior Amanda Kennedy scored all of her team-high 10 points in the first half to lead Toms River East.

(7) Central 40, (10) Jackson Memorial 36

Senior Katelyn Kuster scored 19 points, including 13 in the second half, as the Golden Eagles edged the Jaguars to advance the WOBM Classic quarterfinals Saturday against No. 2 Middletown South.

Jackson Memorial took a two-point lead into the second half before Central tied the game going to the fourth and won it with a 13-9 run to end the game. Kuster hit a pair of free throws with 2:43 left to give Central the lead for good.

Brittany Holmes led Jackson Memorial with 13 points.

(9) Point Boro 44, (8) Brick Memorial 39

The Panthers overcame a double-digit deficit late in the second quarter and held on to beat the Mustangs in the WOBM first round. Senior Lindsey Havens scored 17 points and senior Brianna Skinner added 12 of her 16 in the second half.

Brick Memorial led 26-16 late in the second quarter, but the Panthers went on a 19-2 run over a 12-minute stretch that spanned the second, third and fourth quarters. Point Boro built a 35-28 lead in the fourth, but Brick Memorial rallied to cut the deficit to 1. The Mustangs had a chance had a chance to take the lead on one possession and after a miss, Skinner banked in a short jumper to stretch the lead back to three.

Senior Danielle Oakley led Brick Memorial with 14 points and six steals. Point Boro will play top-seeded Manasquan in the WOBM quarterfinals on Dec. 27

(2) Middletown South 61, (15) Wall 23

Junior Stephanie Karcz scored a game-high 23 points and the Eagles rode a 22-0 run to open the game to a win over the Crimson Knights. Middletown South will play No. 7 Central in the WOBM quarterfinals on Dec. 27.

(1) Manasquan 84, (16) Shore 29

Senior Marina Mabrey scored a game-high 22 points and sophomore Stella Clark added 17 to lead the top-seeded Warriors to a win over the Blue Devils. Clark converted a three-point play six seconds into the game to spark a 17-0 run over the first 5-plus minutes and Mansaquan never looked back.

The Warriors will play No. 9 Point Boro in the WOBM semifinals on Dec. 27.
