The windmill on the original WindMill Restaurant in Long Branch reportedly fell off the building Monday night around 9:30pm, according to reports. The restaurant's owner tells the Asbury Park Press that the Windmill re-opened on Tuesday, and repairs will be made.

The restaurant was open at the time of the incident, according to WABC-TV. The Asbury Park Press reports that nobody was injured, and no cars were damaged at the time of the incident.

A local weather station reported that winds in the area were reported at 21mph in the 9pm hour, and they were gusting to 32mph.

The iconic blades on the building were replaced in October, according to a published report.
