Manasquan has been the top ranked team in the Shore Sports Network Top Ten all season long and with three more victories this week the Warriors will secure the SSN Trophy as the #1 team at the shore.  Manasquan begins that quest today (5pm) when they host 8th seeded Neptune in a first round game in Pod A of the Shore Conference Postseason with the Shore Sports Network to stream it live.

The Warriors beat the Scarlet Fliers twice last week by an average of 16 points per game and Neptune was likely not very happy to have to face them again.  Ben Roy had 56 points in the two victories while Jack Collins added 39.  Neptune's record of 2-5 may leave you wondering how they got into the "championship bracket" of this unofficial tournament.  Plagued by a long shutdown in February all their losses have come against top tier teams (Manasquan, Ranney & Marlboro) while their two wins over Wall were pretty impressive at the time.  Neptune will count on Sam Fagan (32 points in the two games against Squan) and Andre Harris (24) as they try and pull off the upset.

Matt Harmon and Kevin Williams will call tonight's action which can be viewed for free on shoresportsnetwork.com and its app as well. Jersey Mike's and Atlantic Physical Therapy Center are the presenting sponsors of Shore Sports Network's live broadcasts.
