Wall senior Dan Wondrack, one of the Shore Conference's top returning catchers in 2015, announced on Twitter Thursday that he has verbally committed to the College of Charleston in South Carolina.

Wondrack was a Shore Sports Network second-team All-Shore selection this spring after hitting .424 with 36 hits, 19 RBI, 12 runs scored, 6 doubles and 4 home runs with a .480 on-base percentage and a .635 slugging percentage for the Class B North champions.

Wondrack was also part of the Jersey Shore squad that brought home the fourth Carpenter Cup title in its history and the first since 2010. He will join a College of Charleston program that finished ranked in the top 20 nationally this spring following a 44-19 season and the program's second appearance ever in an NCAA Regional.
