Class A North Player of the Week

Camryn Foltz, Colts Neck

The gliding, lengthy 5-7 sophomore guard, who is scoring at an 11.6 clip, backed up 17 points in a 61-28 decision against Freehold Boro with a game-high 14 to pace a 50-34 victory over Neptune that sealed the A North title for the Cougars (15-5).

Class A Central Player of the Week

Meghan Murray, Red Bank

The 5-9 junior guard steered the Bucs (12-10) into the Shore Conference Tournament last week. Murray collected 20 points, six steals and three assists to key 58-33 win over Raritan, complemented 19 points with six steals during a 48-30 triumph against Holmdel and finished with 12 points, five rebounds and four steals Saturday as Red Bank topped Holy Spirit, 45-34.

Class A South Player of the Week

Emily Donzanti, Toms River South

The 5-4 senior playmaker exploded for a season-high 29 points, including the 1,000th of her career, to stamp the Indians’ impressive 49-41 victory against Southern. Over three games last week, she averaged 22 points, 5.3 assists and 3.6 steals.

Class B North Player of the Week

Faith Masonius, Manasquan

To suggest the 6-1 junior swing, who is committed to Maryland, was locked in last week might be an understatement. In three games, Masonius shot 71.7 percent from the field (28 for 39), punctuated by 23 points, eight rebounds and staunch defense on Saturday to spark the a 50-44 overtime win against St. Rose. She averaged 21.6 points, 10.3 rebounds and three assists in a 3-0 week.

Class B Central Player of the Week

Giana Piccini, Keyport

A hard-nosed junior who finds a path to the rim, Piccini delivered when it mattered most for the Red Raiders. She accounted for 20 points and 10 boards on Friday to key a 56-42 victory against Asbury Park which punched Keyport’s ticket into the Shore Conference Tournament. She averaged 18 points in three games last week.

Class B South Player of the Week

Shannon McCoy, Barnegat

The Bengals picked up three straight victories with McCoy a determining factor in each through the 20.3 points and 7.6 rebounds she averaged during the winning spree. She pumped in 26 – fueled by three 3-pointers – and cleared 11 boards on Friday when Barnegat downed Central, 49-36.
