Week 3 (April 15-April 21) Boys Lacrosse Player of the Week nominees (listed in alphabetical order)

 

Pete Abbes, Jr., Attack, Middletown North

Abbes recorded seven goals and 11 points in two games to reach 100 career points.

 

Ryan Croddick, So., Goalie, Rumson-Fair Haven

Croddick was instrumental in Rumson’s 5-4 double-overtime win over Moorestown with eight saves. He also had 11 saves in a 15-3 win over St. John Vianney and three saves in a 15-2 win over Justice (Va.).

 

Brendan Doel, Jr., Attack, Freehold Township

Doel reached the 100 career point mark with seven goals and four assists during a 3-0 week for the Patriots.

 

Mike LaPoint, Sr., Goalie, Manasquan 

In the first game where the Warriors really needed a big game in goal, LaPoint stepped forward with eight saves in Manasquan’s 11-7 comeback win over Bridgewater-Raritan.

 

Holden Lowe, Sr., Attack, Ocean

Lowe scored 15 goals and added two assists in three games to go over the 200-point plateau for his career.

 

Ajani Steverson, Sr., Midfield, Southern

Steverson paced Southern’s offense with five goals and three assists in two games.

 

Jake Turner, Sr., Attack, Shore

Turner had a huge week with 16 goals and 10 assists to eclipse 100 career goals and move with 23 points of 200 for his career.
