Welcome to the latest edition of the Shore Sports Network’s top plays, highlighting the most dazzling and exciting moments from Shore Conference football action.

This week we take a look at the top clips from Week Seven as the season hits the home stretch.

Here we go:

10. Finishing strong.

These three guys know how to end a run. First one is Middletown South sophomore James McCarthy blasting a tackler on a game-tying touchdown run in the fourth quarter against Brick Memorial. Then there's Raritan junior Derek Ernst stiff-arming a Point Boro defender on his way to a 220-yard night against the Panthers. Finally there is Shore Regional's Mike Moore, who picks off a pass against South River, and instead of running out of bounds near the end of his run, he blasts a Rams' offensive lineman and keeps going. Moore also had a 55-yard touchdown run you can see here.

9. Flying Casey.

A Top 10 plays regular, Red Bank Catholic senior wideout Nick Lubischer goes sailing for a pass in the back of the end zone and finds a way to get a foot down in traffic for a touchdown against Manalapan.

8. (Insert clever pun for Dahmiere Willis here)

I'm running out of different headlines and superlatives for Long Branch senior Dahmiere Willis. He put up a school-record 370 yards rushing in a win over Matawan, which included this double cutback that left a few defenders flat-footed in his wake.

7. Let me take that off your hands.

Ocean linebacker T.J. Saldutti rips the ball out of the hands of a Red Bank ballcarrier and takes it nearly 50 yards in the other direction for a touchdown.

6. J & J all day.

The Freehold Boro combination of junior quarterback Jake Curry and senior tailback Josh Dixon was at it again in a win over Toms River East with a pair of outstanding runs. I've seen multiple teams try to tackle Josh Dixon high this year, and it's not advisable.

5. Cella good.

Red Bank Catholic senior Nick Cella smacked off one tackler after another on his way to a great touchdown run in the win over Manalapan.

4. 'O' yeah.

Neptune senior O'Shane Curate hurdles a defender as part of a big all-around game for him in a win over Wall.

3. White lightning.

Mater Dei Prep senior Tysaun White spins out of trouble and cuts it back for this long touchdown run in a win over Metuchen.

2. Husni Houdini.

It's unfortunate that this play got called back for a penalty after the effort by Toms River North sophomore Mike Husni, who left a few defenders tackling air against Southern. The first juke is the best one.

1. Buc-tacular

This kickoff return touchdown by Red Bank Regional junior Sadiq Palmer against Ocean has it all - a hurdle, escaping a shoestring tackle, a cutback, running into his own teammate, and a stiff arm.
