CLASS A NORTH

No. 4 CBA 19, Marlboro 1

Junior attackman Mike Carroll scored four goals with one assist, junior attackman Robbie Hermansen also scored four times and senior attackman Nick Casner scored twice and added four assists as the Colts (4-5, 4-0) ran away from the Mustangs (2-7, 1-5).

Dylan Johnson had a hat trick, Pat Gotterup added two goals and Ryan Madalone, Luke Valentino, Ryan Knoeller and Hunter Conellan each scored once. Ryan McGuiness needed to make just two saves to pick up the win in goal.

Dylan Portnoy and Jared Khon scored for Marlboro and Anthony Martino made 10 saves.

 

 

CLASS B NORTH

Shore 22, Long Branch 1

Junior attackman Ryan Morris scored two goals and added six assists and senior Lukas Jackey had a hat trick to lead the Blue Devils (8-3, 4-1) past the Green Wave (1-10, 0-5).

Desmond Blackmon scored for Long Branch.

 

 

NONDIVISIONAL

No. 9 Howell 14, Toms River South 5

Senior attackman Ryan Damelio scored six times with one assist and senior midfielder Nico Lorenzo had five goals and one assist to power the Rebels (10-2) past the Indians (3-6).

Drew Bukowiec had four assists, Logan Dennison had three assists and Ryan Choffey had one goal and two assists for Howell. Coleman Chrzan scored once and freshman midfielder Vaughn Meehan had a goal while going 18-for-23 on face-offs. Sophomore goalie Nick Roberto made 10 saves.

 

NONCONFERENCE

No. 1 Manasquan 8, Ridge 3

The Warriors (10-1) played a complete game in all phases to defeat the Red Devils (8-2) in a matchup of two teams ranked in the top 10 in New Jersey.

Senior attackman Jarrett Birch was brilliant with a game-high five goals while sophomore attackman Canyon Birch scored twice and senior midfielder Pat Felstedt scored once while quarterbacking the offense. Senior goalie Tom Pollock finished with nine saves, including a huge stop on a man-down situation in the fourth quarter, to backstop a defense that was stellar from start to finish.
