The winner as voted on by the fans is Red Bank football's 24-21 win over Red Bank Catholic on October 16 that officially stamped the Bucs as a championship contender in one of the program's most memorable seasons. Red Bank Catholic entered the season as the defending Non-Public Group III champions and was ranked No. 2 in the Shore Sports Network Top 10. Red Bank was No. 8 and a perfect 5-0 before stunning the rival Caseys on their way to the Class B North division title, the Bucs' first since 1977.

Senior quarterback Jack Navitsky's 57-yard touchdown run midway through the fourth quarter stood up as the winning score.

The Bucs had not defeated the Caseys since 2004 and had not posted a winning season since 2003. That all changed in 2015 as Red Bank reached the Central Jersey Group III final for the first time since 2003 and finished 11-1 The Bucs' 11 wins tied the program single-season record set during the 1975 season when Red Bank went 11-0 and won its only NJSIAA title. The 11 wins also eclipsed the win total from the three prior seasons combined.

Red Bank received 43.42 percent of the vote to edge out Jackson Memorial's Central Jersey Group IV championship football team. Football dominated the voting with five moments among the top 10. Raritan football finished third with its shocking 28-26 win over undefeated Lincoln to win the Central Jersey Group II title.
