The Varsity Link Coaches Corner returns Wednesday night from River Rock Restaurant and Marina Bar in Brick as Bob Badders and Ed Sarluca take a look at the results from Week 2 and look ahead at what to expect from Week 3 of Shore Conference football action.

We will also be joined by Point Boro head coach Brian Staub and senior three-year starting quarterback/defensive back Charlie Vitale. The Panthers are coming off a 41-6 victory over Jackson Liberty in Week 2 and are 2-0 for the first time since 2017, a year they went 11-1 and reached the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group 2 sectional final. Vitale has led a balanced triple-option offense along with sophomore fullback Jake Croce and sophomore slotback Matt Oliphant.

Now entering its 11th year, the show is broadcast each week from 7 to 8 p.m. and can be viewed on live or anytime as it will be archived on the website.

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

Keep reading to see if your favorite beach town made the cut.
