Jackson Liberty has been trying to find their way offensively, searching for the right combination up front, trying to execute when holes open up for their skill players and put more points on the board than the other team.

It's been a tough go for the Jackson Liberty Lions the last few years. There's been progress along the way but little to show for it on Friday nights with consecutive losing seasons.

Junior quarterback Evan Catron, junior running back Jimmy Celentano and an improved defense will try to lead Jackson Liberty back to playoff contention after a 3-7 season in 2017.

A defensive scheme that helped Allentown win a state sectional title last year and one similar to the one Toms River East ran that helped it get to within a game of the finals in 2009, and now it's at Jackson Liberty, which could turn things around quick for the Lions in 2017.
