Toms River South's Cole Corrigan is the 2017-2018 Shore Sports Network Wrestler of the Year.

Toms River South's Cole Corrigan defeated Phillipsburg's Brian Meyer, 5-4, to win the 152-pound NJSIAA state championship.

St. John Vianney's Dean Peterson, Howell's Kyle Slendorn, Ocean's Jake Benner, Toms River South's Cole Corrigan and Wall's Rob Kanniard advanced to the state finals at the NJSIAA Wrestling Championships in Atlantic City.

Lacey's Luke Gauthier won OW while Hunter Gutierrez, Cole Corrigan and Sal DiSalvo also won titles at the 2018 NJSIAA Region 7 Tournament.
