Manasquan's perfect 2021 season ended Friday vs. Marlboro with a game-winning basket in the final seconds of overtime by Andrew Solomon, who lost his father to COVID in early February.

Marlboro cut down one mighty beast of the Shore Conference on Wednesday and will try to slay the final boss on Friday at No. 1 Manasquan.

First COVID-19 took Andrew and Matt Solomon away from their Manasquan basketball teammates. After the virus claimed the life of their father, it brought their team even closer together.

Ben Roy reached the 1,000-point plateau, but it was Connor Walsh and the Manasquan frontcourt that ignited another big Warriors win - this time over Don Bosco.

Manasquan and Montclair Immaculate matched each other shot-for-shot and the Warriors pulled out the win on three Ben Roy free throws with 1.6 seconds left.

The defending Shore Conference champions return the Shore Sports Network Player of the Year and a supporting cast that has the Warriors thinking big again in 2021.
