The Big Red of Ocean visit the Crimson Knights of Wall in tonight’s Jersey Mike’s Game of the Week on the Shore Sports Network’s 1160 & 1310AM. The game will mark the head coaching debut of Tony Grandinetti who was the offensive line coach last season when Wall won their first NJSIAA sectional title since 2002. Not only do the Crimson Knights have a new coach but fans will find new bleachers and a press box as part of the newly renovated athletic complex.

While Wall lost many outstanding players to graduation they do return senior quarterback Eddie Scott whose top weapons will include Chevesse Covin, Brady McNally and Dylan Richey while linebacker Tim McKernan anchors the defense.

Ocean opened its season last week with a 28-17 loss to Monmouth Regional, their first to the Falcons since 2006. Promising sophomore quarterback Robbie Nungasser threw for one touchdown and ran for another while senior Co-captain Christian Wilson had a sack in the end zone for a safety.

Matt Harmon will handle the play-by-play for tonight’s broadcast with Kevin Williams providing commentary and Ed Sarluca down on the field. In addition to being heard on 1160 & 1310AM the game is available on shoresportsnetwork.com and through the free Shore Sports Network mobile app.

Jersey Mike’s Subs is the official football sponsor of the Shore Sports Network and will also help honor the Team of the Week throughout the season.
