In an homage to a National Hockey League tradition dating back to the 1936-1937 season, Shore Sports Network will be selecting three standouts from each day of Shore Conference ice hockey. The Three Stars of the Day will be posted each morning for the previous day's games.

First Star

Braden Ryan, Jr., Fwd., Manasquan

Ryan scored twice in the third period and it was his power-play goal with 12.9 seconds left in the game that served as the game-tying goal as Manasquan rallied for a 3-3 tie with Middletown South. Ryan also assisted on the first goal of the game by James Farinacci.

Second Star

Patrick DeMarinis, Sr., Fwd., Wall

DeMarinis was a presence in front of the net in Wall's 4-2 victory over Manalapan, scoring both his goals by camping out just north of the crease and scoring off rebounds on shots from the point. He also assisted on Jaxon Hook's goal with a deft pass through the slot.

Third Stars

Joe Morris, Sr., Goalie, St. John Vianney

It was senior night for the Lancers and Morris was granted his first career start. He responded by stopping all 15 shots he faced to record the shutout and his first varsity win as the Lancers blanked Freehold, 5-0.

Louis Mancuso, Fr., Goalie, Toms River North

Mancuso made 19 saves to earn his first high school shutout and help the Mariners remain undefeated with a 6-0 win over Howell.
