Class A North

Manalapan 17, Long Branch 0

Senior attackman Mike DeMayo scored four goals and added two assists and junior attackman Richie Williams scored four goals to power the Braves (4-4, 3-3) to a win over the Green Wave (0-6, 0-4).

Frankie D'Amore added two goals and one assist while Matt Sadler and Christian Zdiarski each had a goal and two assists. Grant Carle won 13 of 14 faceoffs and had two assists.

Scott Tavener made 18 saves for Long Branch.

 

Class B North

No. 10 Shore 24, Neptune 4

Jamie Mazzacco and Carson Cooke each tallied three goals and three assists to lead the Blue Devils (5-3, 2-1) to a victory over the Scarlet Fliers (0-8, 0-3). Sean O'Brien won 12 of 12 faceoffs and tallied two goals and one assist, as did Sam Madalone and Ben Levy. Aidan O'Brien scored twice, Ryan Turner had a goal and two assists, and Carson Spallone and Corey Moeller each had three assists. Walker Hunter made three saves.

Garrett Eastin made nine saves for Neptune.

 

Nonconference

Montclair 9, No. 2 Manasquan 4

 

Westfield 12, No. 4 Wall 6

Sophomore attackman John McCurry scored three goals to lead the way for the Crimson Knights (9-2) in their loss to the state-ranked Blue Devils (7-2). Westfield opened a 4-1 lead after the first quarter and led 8-2 at halftime.

Matt Dollive added a goal and an assist, Connor Moore and Daniel Burns each scored once and Aidan Kessler made 11 saves. Westfield's defense was able to cool off Wall standout senior attackman and Rutgers commit Logan Peters, holding him to one assist. Peters had scored six goals in four straight games coming in.
