No. 5 Southern 15, Jackson Liberty 3

Junior midfielder Ryan Sininsky led the way with five goals and two assists as the Rams (3-1) cruised to a victory over the Lions (1-3).

Zach Washco added three goals, Luke Bruther had two goals and two assists and Joey DeYoung tallied two goals and one assist. Jake Cornelius, JT Hille and Jake Washco each scored once. Tyler Sininsky and Nick Roesch split time in goal with each making three saves.

Paul Capozzi scored twice, Reese Stewart scored once and Matthew LaBianca made 22 saves to lead Jackson Liberty.

 

No. 7 Jackson Memorial 8, Freehold Township 2

Junior attackman Matt DeRosa sank four goals and added two assists and senior goalie Chad Szatkowski made 10 saves as the Jaguars (4-0) continued their strong start with a victory over the Patriots (1-2).

Drew Barocas added a goal and two assists while Charlie Harrison, Alex Ariel and Drew Walenty each scored once.

Mike Craft scored twice and Tim Spagnolia made six saves for Freehold Township.

 

No. 9 Red Bank Catholic 21, Donovan Catholic 6

The Caseys (2-1) had seven players score multiple goals, including four who scored three or more, to lead the way in a rout of the Griffins (1-2).

Junior midfielder Anthony Muniz scored a game-high five goals and freshman attackman Jackson Lu led the way in points with two goals and six assists. Jack Frisina scored four times, Torin Harmon had three goals and three assists, Sam Fertal notched a hat trick and Luke Zenkert tallied two goals and two assists. Stephen Albanese won 22 of 25 face-offs and also scored twice. Jack Bilancione made 11 saves.

William Duddy scored four times to lead Donovan Catholic. Daniel Murphy had a goal and three assists, Andrew Baltus scored once and Dermot Murphy made 16 saves.

 

Point Boro, 18, Neptune 4

Junior midfielder Aiden Kirk continued his exceptional play with six goals, three assists and seven ground balls while sophomore Brian Ostrander scored four goals to send the Panthers (2-2) to a win over the Scarlet Fliers (0-4).

Point Boro balanced out the rest of its scoring with Anthony Guzman, Matt Koehler, Spencer Knapp, Logan Morris, Nick Campbell, Chris Criscuolo and even defenseman Patrick Frawley scoring one goal each. Matthew Azzarano made three saves in goal.

No. 4 Wall 16, St. Joseph-Metuchen 9

The Crimson Knights (4-0) built a 9-4 lead and continued to pull away for a victory over the Falcons (2-2) to remain unbeaten heading into their huge showdown with No. 2 Manasquan on Saturday.

 

St. John Vianney 15, Immaculata 12

Alec Osher scored four goals and one assist and Mason Shenk sank four goals and picked up 14 ground balls to propel the Lancers (2-3) past the Spartans (0-2). St. John Vianney built a 9-5 halftime lead and held off a seven-goal second half by Immaculata, which included six goals in the fourth quarter.

Ian Butler added three goals, Nick Glamb had a goal and three assists, Nick Fabrizzi contributed a goal and two assists, Nick Corso had a goal and an assist and Conor Pako scored once. Matthew DeFelice made five saves.

 

Monroe 14, Red Bank 7

The Bucs (2-2) were right in it after the first quarter (5-4) but Monroe pulled away with five goals in the second quarter to take a 10-4 halftime lead.

Henry Spencer led Red Bank with three goals, Ryder Villani had two goals and one assist,  Andrew Pape had a goal and two assists, and Nick Wetiz scored once. Gavin Lisko made six saves.

 

A.L. Johnson 7, Middletown North 3

Senior goalie Joey Dam made 20 saves in the loss for Middletown North.
