No. 2 Rumson-Fair Haven 17, No. 6 Howell 3

Sophomore attackman Cole Cashion tallied four goals and three assists and junior attackman Christian Bockelmann had his third straight three-goal game as the red-hot Bulldogs (3-0) torched the Rebels (1-2) to continue their scorching start to the season.

Senior midfielder Patrick Jamin added two goals and two assists and senior attackman Luke Devlin contributed two goals and one assist. Phillip Passalaqua also had two goals and one assist, Beau Kemler scored twice and Bryce Devlin and Bennett Raphalian chipped in with a goal and an assist each.

Vincent Burns, Jack Marich and Nate Lorenzo scored for Howell and James Fay made 15 saves.

 

No. 7 Middletown South 10, No. 10 Shore 5

Ryan Paulsen sank four goals and Luke Platzke delivered two goals and three assists as the Eagles (3-0) doubled up the Blue Devils (1-1) in a top-10 showdown.

Luke Rohrman also scored twice for Middletown South while Matt Dunphy and Jason Allen had one goal apiece. Nate Block made eight saves to earn the win in goal.

Jamie Mazzacco scored three goals to lead Shore. Sam Madalone added a goal and two assists, Carson Cooke scored once and Walker Hunter made 13 saves.

 

Middletown North 7, St. John Vianney 5

No. 3 CBA 14, Old Bridge 2

Sophomore midfielder Nick Blalock scored three goals with one assist and senior midfielder Michael DeRosa had two goals and two assists to lead the Colts (2-1) to a dominant victory over the Knights (1-2).

Ian Macrae and Ty Feiler each scored twice, Dan Martin had a goal and four assists, Ryan Howard had a goal and two assists and Aidan Guinnessey, Ged Clark and Hayden Kelly each scored once. Noah D'Andrea made nine saves in goal.

 

No. 4 Wall 7, Monroe 4

Sophomore attackman John McCurry scored three goals and added two assists as the Crimson Knights (2-0) won a low-scoring game against a solid Falcons (2-1) team.

Senior attackman Logan Peters added two goals and one assist, senior middie Ryan Bryce also scored twice and junior midfielder Matt Dollive had three assists.

 

Point Boro 10, Middle Township 6

Junior midfielder Aidan Kirk scored four goals, dished out an assist and picked up 13 ground balls to lead the Panthers (1-1) to victory against Middle Township (0-4).

Matt Koehler added two goals, Brian Ostrander had a goal and an assist and Aiden Romer, Nick Campbell and Chris Criscuolo each scored once. Matthew Azzarano had a strong game in goal with 17 saves.

 

North Brunswick 18, Neptune 8

Raymond Rogers totaled three goals and two assists and Nate Edwards scored three times to lead the Scarlet Fliers (0-2). Thomas Lowe and Bryan Sandoval each scored once and Garrett Eastin made eight saves.

 

Newark East Side 7, Long Branch 6 (OT)

Daniel Gonzalez scored four times to lead the Green Wave (0-1), who fell in overtime to the Red Raiders (1-1). Connor Wolff added two goals and Scott Tavener made 15 saves.
