The finals of the Shore Conference Basketball Tournament has in recent years been one of the toughest tickets to get and there’s no reason to expect anything different when the Shore’s best teams meet at Monmouth University’s OceanFirst Bank Center on Saturday night.

The girls final (7 p.m.) is all set with top-seed and 13-time champion St. John Vianney to meet #3 seed Manchester, the first Hawks team (girls or boys) to ever get this far in the SCT.  The boys championship game matchup (5 p.m.) will be decided later tonight when Ranney plays Freehold Township and Manasquan battles CBA in the semifinals.  Should Ranney win then it makes Saturday night even a tougher ticket to get because it could be the last time for local fans to see the Panthers dynamic duo of Bryan Antoine and Scottie Lewis although the Patriots hope to spoil those plans.  Both Manasquan and CBA have strong fan bases so regardless of who wins they’ll have plenty of supporters in the stands.

With that in mind, there is a way to guarantee you’ll get a ticket and that is to buy them in advance during Friday’s presale at the OceanFirst Bank Center.  Beginning at 9 a.m. you can purchase up to 10 tickets at $10 each (cash only) with the advance sale to continue until 11 a.m. or when 2,500 tickets are sold.  Game day tickets will go on sale Saturday beginning at 3 p.m. with doors to open at 4 p.m., an hour before the Boys Championship game.

Those planning to head to Monmouth University on Friday for the presale must park in lot #18.
