Class A North

CBA 15, Colts Neck 3

Senior attackman Brendan Donnelly scored three goals and added two assists and senior midfielder Ian Macrae also scored three times to pace the Colts (2-1, 1-0) in their victory over the Cougars (0-2, 0-1).

Senior midfielder Liam Schwartz and freshman midfielder Ben Breedan scored twice, senior attackman Nick Blalock tallied a goal and two assists, sophomore midfielder Davis Campbell had a goal and an assist, and junior midfielder Cameron D'Alterio, sophomore LSM Quinn Kelly, and senior midfielder Christian Petruzelli each scored once.

Sophomore FOGO Hunter Kilpatrick went a perfect 16-for-16 at the face-off X while junior goalie Brandon DeSena (1 save) and sophomore goalie Luke Phillips (2 saves) split time in goal. CBA held a 27-5 shots advantage.

Sophomore attackman Jayden Molina scored twice, senior midfielder Sean Perkinson scored once, and junior goalie Aaron Nasimov made 16 saves.

 

Class B North

Rumson-Fair Haven 17, Long Branch 0

St. John Vianney 13, Lacey 12 (OT)

Senior Ian Butler scored a career-high six goals and added one assist and junior William Keegan sank four goals with one assist as the Lancers (2-1) won an overtime thriller over the Lions (2-2).

Blake Hawthorn tallied two goals and one assist and Max Menkowitz had a goal and an assist and won 20 of 27 at the face-off X. Nick Galamb chipped in with two assists and Jack Lupo (4 saves) and Jacob Volk (3 saves) split time in goal.

 

Brick 5, Ocean 2

Junior midfielder Cailean Connolly posted a team-high four points on a goal and three assists and junior goalie Ryan Kurc made eight saves to lead the Dragons (1-3) over the Spartans (1-3) for their first win of the season.

Travis Hickman also had a multi-point game with a goal and an assist while Zack Wagner, Travis Trempy, and Donovan Iannarone had one goal each.

Ben Girard had a goal and an assist and Vincent Stolowski scored once for Ocean.

 

Point Boro 19, Marlboro 0

Sophomore attackman Brady Kirk sank four goals and dished out two assists and senior attackman Brian Ostrander scored three goals and assisted on five others to pave the way for the Panthers' (2-1) dominant victory over the Mustangs (0-3).

Junior midfielder Robert Trapanese tied Kirk for the game-high with four goals, senior attackman Spencer Knapp had three goals and two assists, junior midfielder Greyson Ritter notched a hat trick, and junior midfielder Matthew Woit and sophomore attackman Jason Piemonte chipped in with one goal each.

 

 

Nonconference

West Essex 16, Red Bank Catholic 10

Sophomore attackman Anthony Drago and senior midfielder Jack Massotto combined for 21 points to lead the Knights (3-1) past the Caseys (1-2).

Drago scored eight goals and added three assists and Massotto had five goals and five assists for West Essex. Andrew Adams scored twice and Riley Ruane scored once. Teddy Skopak made four saves.

Senior midfielder Sam Fertal and junior midfielder Jackson Lu each scored three goals to lead RBC. Junior attackman Peter Villare scored twice, senior defenseman Nick Lindung and freshman attackman Frank Tackett had one goal each, and senior midfielder Torin Harmon spun four assists. Senior goalie Christian Schraeder made 17 saves and senior defenseman Nick Cosimano picked up a team-high eight ground balls.

 

Middletown North 13, St. Joseph By-The-Sea (NY) 2

Senior attackman/midfielder Thomas Baron scored four goals and added one assist and senior attackman Cole Kroeper also scored four goals to send the Lions (2-0) to a victory over the Vikings.

Hayden Mattos scored twice, Anthony Torregrossa had a goal and two assists and Jacob Cerrato made eight saves to earn the win. Nicholas Barry added a goal and an assist and Gavin Eremus scored once.
