Point Beach 57, Ocean 38

Junior Stephen Seaman scored a game-high 16 points and helped lead a defensive effort that held the Spartans (1-6) to eight points each in the third and fourth quarters in a Garnet Gulls (3-1) win.

Junior Kevin Burns added 14 points and seniors Andrew Laumbach and Anthony Longo each added nine points for Point Beach, which outscored Ocean, 46-16, in the second half.

Sophomore Juelz Mendez led Ocean with 13 points and senior Cord Birzin added 11 in the loss.

Freehold Twp. 74 Cinnaminson 42

Junior Jayden Holmes-Cotter put up 21 points, eight rebounds, three steals and two blocks to lead the Patriots (5-3) to a rout of the Pirates (2-6).

Senior Sean Keegan added 12 points and three assists, senior Ryan Keegan threw in eight points and junior Malachi Harris went for five points, seven rebounds, five assists and four steals for Freehold Township, which had 12 of its players score in the win.

No. 3 Marlboro 59, Robbinsville 49

Senior Zack Molod returned from a three-game absence with a career-best shooting performance and the Mustangs (9-2) raced past the previously-unbeaten Ravens (7-1) after trailing by a point at halftime.

Molod finished with a game-high 25 points on 9-for-12 shooting, including 7-for-10 from beyond the three-point arc.

Senior Brian Herbert gave Marlboro major problems in the first half and finished with 22 points, seven rebounds, three assists and five steals. The Mustangs, however, went from a zone-heavy look on defense in the first half to man-to-man in the second and held Herbert to four points after the break after he burned them for 18 over the first 16 minutes.

Senior Jack Seidler added 12 points, senior Jon Spatola chipped in 11 points and three assists and senior Vincent Spatola scored all eight of his points in the second half for Marlboro.

Robbinsville led, 28-27, at halftime after Marlboro scored the final six points of the half and 33-31 in the middle of the third quarter. The Mustangs then closed the third on a 14-4 run to take a 45-37 lead heading to the fourth.

The Ravens pulled within 46-44 at one point, but Vincent Spatola and Jon Spatola scored on back-to-back trips to push the lead to 50-44. While Robbinsville twice cut Marlboro's lead to three points, the Ravens never had possession with a chance to tie the game with a two or three.
