Freshman Jayden Hodge scored 18 points to go with three assists and three steals and the Purple Roses (5-0) rolled to a win over the Green Wave (1-4).

Junior Matthew Hodge posted 13 points, nine rebounds and three assists, while freshman Tyler Cameron poured in 12 points for St. Rose, which will take on Notre Dame in the Buc Classic semifinals on Wednesday.

Senior Bruce Gooding scored 17 of his game-high 24 points in the first half to lead Long Branch.

(5) Red Bank 81, (4) Sayreville 50

Senior Collin Teter put up 20 points, six rebounds and five assists in just under three quarters of work and the Bucs (3-1) steamrolled the Bombers (1-4) to reach the semifinals of the Buc Classic Wednesday against top-seeded CBA.

Teter scored 10 of his points in the first four minutes of the third quarter before heading to the bench for the remainder of the game with his team holding a significant lead. Senior Nick Valentino, meanwhile, scored all 16 of his points in the first half while grabbing seven rebounds.

Senior Will Bradley scored a game-high 19 points and the Colts (2-2) rolled to a first-round win over the Lions (1-4) in their first game of the season against an in-state opponent.

Junior Peter Noble added 13 points, senior Joe White netted 12, sophomore Justin Fuerbacher chipped in nine and senior Colin Torres contributed eight off the bench to aide in the CBA effort.

Juniors Jason Quardt and Jack Walsh each scored eight points to lead Middletown North.

Sophomore Chauncey Brown scored 19 points and classmate Jayden Elijah added 10, but the Huskies (0-4) came up short in the first round of their holiday tournament in losing to the Knights (3-2).

(1) Seton Hall Prep 74, (8) Carteret 36

(2) St. Thomas Aquinas 90, (7) Manalapan 50

The St. Thomas Aquinas trio of Michael Jones (21 points), Jaden Kelly (20) and Terrell Pitts (19) combined for 60 points and the Trojans (5-0) overwhelmed the Braves (2-2) to reach the semifinals of the Husky Classic.

Senior Jack Buchman led Manalapan with 16 points, including four three-pointers.

(3) Holmdel 52, (6) Hamilton West 28

Junior Ben Kipnis scored 18 points behind five three-pointers and Holmdel (3-1) coasted to a win over Hornets (3-2).

Junior Nick Seeloch added 16 points and classmate Daxx Corniero added 12 for Holmdel, which will take on St. Thomas Aquinas -- the No. 4 team in the state, according to NJ Advance Media -- in Wednesday's semifinal round.

Emmitt Kane hit the game-winning three-pointer late in overtime to cap a game-high, 17-point performance as the Spartans (2-3) clipped the Rams (3-1) to reach the Score at the Shore semifinals Thursday against Lenape.

Senior Tom Menegus scored 13 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and blocked two shots to lead Southern. Senior Pat Gaffney and sophomore Justin Silva each reached double-figure scoring, with Gaffney going for 12 points and three assists and Silva contributing 10 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

Junior Caden Schubiger and sophomore Cooper Dempsey each added nine points, with Schubiger also pitching in four rebounds, three assists and three steals in the loss. Senior Max DiPietro also filled up the Southern stat sheet with six points, six rebounds and six assists.

(5) Howell 61, (4) Cedar Creek 48

Junior Chris Meehan hit five three-pointers on the way to a game-high 23 points and the Rebels (2-2) rolled to a win over the Pirates (2-4).

Junior D.J. Orloff added 14 points and senior Damien Padilla pitched in nine for Howell, which will take on top-seeded Mainland in Wednesday's semifinal round.

Howell outscored Cedar Creek, 16-5, in the third quarter to take control of the game and Meehan closed out the win with 11 points and three threes in the fourth quarter.

Sophomore Jaycen Santucci scored 24 points and four steals and junior Jordan Babot scored all 13 of his points during a huge fourth-quarter comeback as the Golden Eagles (4-1) topped the Lancers (2-3).

Santucci scored eight points during the fourth quarter, during which Central outscored St. John Vianney, 23-5, to erase a 13-point deficit. Junior Miles Chevalier added 14 points, eight rebounds and four steals for the Golden Eagles.

Junior Emanuel Domingo led St. John Vianney with 14 points, while senior Connor Howard scored 11 and sophomore Aidan Ur chipped in nine in the loss. All three Lancers players did all of their scoring in the first three quarters.

(5) Middletown South 54, (8) Toms River South 38

Junior Owen Richter scored 14 points and the Eagles (1-4) dug in on the defensive end to beat the Indians (1-4) and secure their first win of the season.

Senior Pat Brown added 11 points and classmate Dylan Csik contributed 10 for Middletown South, which lost its first four games by a combined 14 points, including three by one-score margins.

Junior Kai Barckley led Toms River South with a game-high 15 points and senior Mazaiah Brown-Height added 10 in the loss.

Sophomore Sherrod Nelson scored 14 of his game-high 18 points in the first half and the Mariners (4-2) bounced back from a Monday WOBM loss by topping the Griffins (0-4).

Senior Delani Hyde poured in 15 points and junior Jeremiah Pruitt chipped in nine for Toms River North.

Senior Brian Farrell led Donovan Catholic with 15 points and classmate Pete Farlekas added nine.

(5) Manchester 58, (8) Wall 49

Senior Evan Weiner scored 17 points and three other Manchester players each hit three three-pointers to spark the Hawks (2-3) to a win over the Crimson Knights (0-6).

Sophomore Aidan Lunn finished with 15 points and hit two of his three threes in the first quarter. Junior Josh Love added 13 points on three threes and junior Thomas Ross scored all nine of his points on three second-half threes, including a pair in the fourth quarter.

Sophomore Demitri Tu led Wall with a game-high 19 points and sophomore Tom Ekberg chipped in 10 in the loss.

Raritan 57, Trenton Catholic 43

Senior Billy Tigar went off for a career-high 29 points powered by six three-pointers to carry the unbeaten Rockets (4-0) to a win over the Iron Mikes (0-3).

Senior Jack O'Leary added 14 points and eight rebounds for Raritan.

Rumson-Fair Haven 66, Barnegat 48

Sophomore Luke hit six of his team's 17 three-pointers and scored 20 points to lead the Bulldogs (3-1) to a win over the Bengals (1-5).

Senior Mason Yablonski and junior Sean Trinder each added 12 points on four three-pointers for Rumson.

Junior Jamari Smith led Barnegat with 13 points, while sophomores Cole Toddings and Todd Muhammad each pitched in 10 in the loss.

Keyport 73, Timothy Christian 70

Junior Mike Nichols led four Keyport players in double-figures with 19 points and the Red Raiders (3-1) battled past the Tigers (1-3) to reach the tournament championship game on Wednesday.

Senior Mason Hospital added 15 points, while juniors Max Judson and Mike Ford each scored 14 for Keyport.
