How Good Are The Griffins? Watch Red Bank Catholic vs. Donovan Catholic

As Donovan Catholic has rolled over one opponent after another this season there are many who have questioned just how good they are because of the relatively easy schedule they have played compared to other highly ranked teams.  The Griffins (7-0) are ranked second in this week’s Jeep Store/Shore Sports Network Top Ten and tonight face by far their biggest challenge when they host defending Non-Public Group 3 champion Red Bank Catholic.  This anxiously anticipated matchup is the Jersey Mike’s Game of the Week on the Shore Sports Network.  The 6:30 p.m. contest will be streamed live on shoresportsnetwork.com with Kevin Williams, Vin Ebenau and Ed Sarluca calling the action.  You can also watch the game on the Shore Sports Network Facebook page or by downloading the free Shore Sports Network mobile app.

RBC (3-3) has played a difficult schedule in the American Division and despite only having a .500 record is ranked sixth in the SSN Top Ten. The Caseys feature a pair of Division 1 recruits in Kevin Bauman (Notre Dame) and Charlie Gordinier (Boston College) and they will not back down in this road contest.

Meanwhile, the Griffins have not been tested once this season, outscoring their opponents 278-20 and securing the Liberty Division title.  Donovan boasts standouts like QB Ryan Clark, running back Jahdir Loftland and two-way lineman Dominick Brogna and Cam McNair.
