Every week this season, Shore Conference football fans will have their chance to vote for the Orthopaedic Institute of Central Jersey/Shore Sports Network Football Player of the Week on our website, with over 155,000 votes cast so far this season.

The winner of the Week 11 readers’ vote for the Shore Sports Network Football Player of the Week is Point Boro running back Brandon Cipriano, who had 162 total yards and four touchdowns in the Panthers' 27-6 win over Manasquan in the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group II semifinals.

Cipriano caught a 66-yard touchdown pass from senior quarterback James Fara to open the scoring and then ran for a 10-yard touchdown to give Point Boro a 13-0 lead in the second quarter. He added a 9-yard touchdown run to put the Panthers up 21-0 at halftime and added a 10-yard touchdown catch on the first series of the third quarter as Point Boro improved to 11-0 and advanced to its first state championship game since 2007.

A slotback in Point Boro's triple-option offense, Cipriano has had a tremendous season with 1,165 total yards and 17 touchdowns. He is second on the team with 729 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns on a fantastic average of 12.6 yards per carry. He is also the Panthers' leading receiver with 24 receptions for 436 yards and five touchdowns.
