Class A South

Southern 2, Central 0

Senior Aidan Antonio took advantage of a keeper error to score in the 54th minute and sophomore Aidan Donnelly buried an eight-yard shot in the 70th to power the Rams (6-3, 4-2) past the Golden Eagles (5-4, 3-4) for their third straight win.

Toms River East 8, Brick 0

Senior Kajus Matazinskas went off for a hat trick and two assists and the Raiders (3-3-2, 3-1-1) handled the Green Dragons (1-9, 0-7) to clinch a spot in the Shore Conference Tournament.

Senior Ryan Kozlej, junior Jackson Markovitch, junior Sean Peck and sophomores Luke Bodziak and Ethan Kelly each added a goal for Toms River East.

Class B South

No. 6 Point Boro 2, Manchester 1

Junior Owen Clearwaters scored two goals, including the tiebreaking score in the 19th minute to lift the Panthers (8-1-1, 6-0-1) to a win over the Hawks (8-3, 2-3) and to no worse than a share of the Class B South championship. The division title is the first for Point Boro since the Panthers won their fifth straight in 2016.

Clearwaters scored two minutes into the match off a cross from senior Jared Elliott, but Manchester answered with a goal by junior Joey Kurak, who settled a free kick from Anthony Raimondi and finished the equalizer in the 11th.

Elliott found Clearwaters again in the 19th, sending the ball over the defense and giving the junior forward a chance to run it down and finish for a 2-1 lead.

Point Boro came up with two huge saves in the final four minutes and neither came from junior starting goalkeeper Andrew Holper -- who also did his part in net on Wednesday. Senior defender Brett Leschinski cleared the ball off the goal-line of an exposed net and, with Holper sidelined with an injury, freshman Logan Forte parried a shot-on-goal over the crossbar with 20 seconds left.

Barnegat 3, Donovan Catholic 2 (OT)

Freshman Leo Chamorro scored the golden goal in the ninth minute of overtime and the Bengals (4-5, 2-4) pulled out a crucial road win over the Griffins (3-7, 1-6) to keep their hopes of a Shore Conference Tournament berth alive.

Senior Jesse Hedlund tied the game for Barnegat with a goal late in the second half after junior Matt Fletcher scored two second-half goals -- one assisted by senior Peyton Calvetto -- to give Donovan Catholic a 2-1 lead.

Sophomore Joe Ficorillo scored in the first half to give Barnegat a 1-0 lead.

Non-Conference

Neptune 5, Ewing 2

Junior Kervins Lafortune posted a goal and two assists and seniors Ernst Louisius and Luckerson Pierre each pitched in a goal and an assist to help the Scarlet Fliers (9-2) bury the Blue Devils (3-9). Julian Lemus scored the other Neptune goal.

Lacey 2, Manville 0

Junior Matteo Pasqualicchio scored in the first minute -- the seventh straight Lacey goal that Pasqualicchio has either scored or assisted -- and the Lions (5-4-1) blanked the Mustangs (5-3-2). Freshman Tanner Grozinski scored the other goal for Lacey.
