Class A North

No. 1 CBA 4, Freehold Boro 0

Senior Will Thygeson scored a goal in each half and also assisted on by junior Dylan Millevoi as the Colts cruised past the Colonials for their sixth straight win.

Millevoi also served up an assist on junior Logan Szuwalski's goal that opened the scoring in the 15th minute. Thygeson made it 2-0 in the 36th and 3-0 in the 45th -- both off feeds from junior Dimitry Corba.

No. 4 Freehold Twp. 1, No. 8 Middletown North 0 (OT)

Senior Jake Visco scored the golden goal in the fourth minute of overtime off a pass from classmate Tyler Santos and the Patriots pulled out a road win over the Lions for their fifth straight victory.

No. 9 Marlboro 1, No. 3 Howell 0

Sophomore Trevor Barrett scored off a pass from junior Tyler Cohen and the Mustangs upended the Rebels, with senior Jake Bono earning his third shutout in goal -- all three of which were 1-0 Marlboro wins.

 

Class A Central

Wall 2, Monmouth 0

Junior Nick Damiano assisted goals by classmate Jake Petillo in the 33rd and senior James Damiano in the 75th as the Crimson Knights put away a win over the Falcons.

Shore 3, Red Bank Catholic 2

Senior Nick DiNapoli and junior Sean Newbert each scored an goal and an assist and the Blue Devils outlasted the Caseys.

Freshman Santino Scarponi scored the other Shore goal. RBC, meanwhile, got its goals on a penalty kick from senior Robert Milke and a direct kick by senior Christian Condon.

Rumson-Fair Haven 2, No. 2 Holmdel 1 (OT)

Senior Jacob Brown stole the ball deep in Holmdel's third of the field and scored the golden goal 34 seconds into the second overtime period to five the Bulldogs a thrilling win over the previously-unbeaten Hornets.

Rumson jumped on top in the 48th minute on a goal by sophomore Ronan Hogg, which also came on a Holmdel turnover in its defensive third. Hogg's breakaway finish was the first goal Holmdel allowed on the season.

The Hornets drew even in the 64th, with sophomore Jackson O'Connor unleashing a 30-year shot that curled into the top right corner of the goal.

 

Class B North

Matawan 0, Long Branch 0

Manasquan 3 No. 5 Ocean 2

Making his season debut, senior Matt Karolak scored the equalizer in the 60th minute and the game-winner in the 70th to give the Warriors a big, come-from-behind B North win over the Spartans.

Karolak pounced on the rebound of a direct kick by sophomore Christian Gonzalez to score the tying goal and he did it again following an initial shot by junior Lucas Farkas 10 minutes later.

Manasquan scored first on a goal by junior Luke Roy off a feed from senior Aidan Sugure in the 15th minute.

St. John Vianney 2, Red Bank 0

Senior Danny Herndon scored in the 30th minute and freshman Alex Siniscalchi tallied his first varsity goal to give the Lancers some insurance in a shutout win over the Bucs.

Herndon scored off a rebound on an initial shot by senior Luke Molloy and Siniscalchi's goal came off an assist from sophomore Anthony Marano.

Senior Matt Brana saved 10 shots to earn the clean sheet.

 

Class B Central

St. Rose 6, Asbury Park 0

Jack Tiernan scored a goal in each half and the Purple Roses cruised to a win over the Blue Bishops.

Isaiah Taylor contributed a goal and an assist in the second half, while Diego Nieves, James Vitale and Aiden Bonczek each added a goal for St. Rose.

 

Non-Division

Raritan 7, Ranney 1

Senior Lupo Ryder scored four goals and assisted another to spark the Rockets to a one-sided win over the Panthers.

Senior Lucas Hutnik chipped in a goal and an assist while seniors Jack Granite and Danny Ryder each added a goal as well for Raritan.

Senior Christian Virone scored the lone Ranney goal.
