Senior Will Thygeson scored the game's first goal in the 10th minute and assisted the last two of CBA's four first-half goals as the Colts stampeded through the Blue Knights for their fourth straight win.

Thygeson's goal came off a cross from senior Jack D'Eletto, who scored a goal of his own in the 13th off a through-ball from junior Max Koczan for a 2-0 CBA lead.

CBA made it 3-0 in the 17th when junior Dylan Millevoi knocked in a cross from Thygeson and stretched the lead to 4-0 in the 39th on a goal by junior Cameron D'Alterio, who headed in a cross from Thygeson.

Point Boro 4, No. 2 Rumson-Fair Haven 1

Senior Brett Leschinski scored the first of four first-half goals by four different Point Boro players and the Panthers (5-0) steamrolled the defending Central Group II champion Bulldogs (2-2) to remain unbeaten to start the season.

Leschinski scored off a set piece service by senior Jared Elliot in the fifth minute and junior John Witkowski finished off a feed from classmate John Ward in the 14th.

Sophomore Drew Cardia extended the lead to 3-0 in the 26th by finishing off an assist from senior Alex Corso and senior Max Dyba capped the first-half explosion in the 31st, with senior Alex Baginski providing the assist.

Senior Alec Pentikis broke up the shutout by scoring Rumson's lone goal four minutes into the second half.

No. 6 Ocean 0, Brick Memorial 0

Brick 2, Shore 1

Senior Jayson Nardone scored two goals, including the golden goal in overtime off a pass from Braulio Romero to carry the Green Dragons to a win over the Blue Devils -- their first of the season.

Nardone's first goal tied the game in the 53rd minute and his game-winner came in the seventh minute of overtime.

Senior Max DeOliveira scored off a pass from classmate Connor Katz in the fourth minute to give Shore an early 1-0 lead.

Southern 3, Middletown South 2 (OT)

Sophomore Brody Reynolds scored the golden goal in the 13th minute of overtime off a pass from classmate Jefferson Rubi Cruz as the Rams upended the Eagles.

Cade Beck opened the scoring off an assist from senior Patrick Gaffney in the 33rd minute and sophomore Nick Prosperi scored the second Southern goal, with junior David Boyd notching the assist.

Sophomore Matteo Miglio and senior Chris Mendina scored the two Middletown South goals, with junior Shawn McCann assisting both goals Eagles goals.

Westfield 1, No. 4 Long Branch 0 (OT)

After playing down a man due for nearly 80 minutes to a double-yellow card in the 20th, the Green Wave made it to the 17th minute of overtime without conceding a goal, but a deflected goal for the Blue Devils ended it in the 97th.
