Ocean County American Legion Playoff Scoreboard, 7/23/15

The Ocean County American Legion double-elimination county tournament continues on Thursday after two teams picked up victories in Wednesday's action.

Game #4: Brick Post 348 (6) - Toms River South Post 129 (4)

Brick post 348 scored five runs in the sixth inning to come back from a 4-1 deficit and win their first-round game. During the rally, Brick scored their runs on a bases-loaded walk, a wild pitch, an infield error and a throwing error. John Zurawski earned the win with two shutout innings of relief.

Game #7: Mystic Island Post 493 (6) - Point Pleasant Boro (2)

Noah Dean pitched 5 1/3 innings to get the win for Mystic Island, and Chris Burke threw 1 2/3 innings for the save.

David Lunn smacked a two-run double, and Jared Strang had a pair of hits, two runs scored and an RBI to lead the offense.
