Senior midfielder Connor Moore scored the game-winning goal with 2:01 left in overtime to cap a thrilling semifinal game and send the Crimson Knights into the sectional final.

Wall led 6-2 at halftime but the Pioneers rallied to get it to 6-5 and continued to say within two goals, eventually tying the game at 11 and taking a 12-11 lead with 1:44 left in regulation. Junior midfielder Shea Brennan provided the game-tying goal with 42 seconds left in the fourth quarter to force overtime. Somerville won the overtime face-off but Wall was able to get a defensive stop and turn the ball the other way where Moore eventually scored to give Wall the dramatic victory.

Wall will travel to top-seeded Manasquan for the sectional final on Tuesday, June 6.

Senior attackman Matt Porazzo delivered five goals and three assists to reach the 200-point milestone for his career as the Warriors (17-5) pushed past the Hornets to reach their seventh straight sectional championship game.

Sophomore attackman Brandon Kunz added two goals and three assists and junior goalie Nick Bounassi had another outstanding game with 11 saves. Senior midfielder James Farinacci scored three goals.

Freshman attackman Finn Buchan scored twice and senior goalie Andrew Arredondo made nine saves to lead Holmdel (17-5). Senior attackman Kyle Kapcsos had a goal and an assist, sophomore attackman Brian Volpe scored once, and junior midfielder Will Gilfillan had two assists.

Manasquan will host Wall in the sectional final on Tuesday, June 6.

Non-Public quarterfinals

Non-Public B

(4) Immaculata 8, (5) Red Bank Catholic 7

Trailing by three goals entering the fourth quarter, Immaculata scored four times in the final 12 minutes to stun the Caseys (11-8) and advance to the state semifinals.

Senior midfielder Torin Harmon tallied two goals and one assist for RBC. Peter Villare also scored twice, Frank Tackett had a goal and an assist, and Jackson Lu and Nick Cosimano each scored once. Brian Vecchio won 10 of 19 face-offs and Christian Schrader made nine saves.
