Monmouth University Football Announces 2021 Recruiting Class

WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. - Monmouth Head Football Coach Kevin Callahan announced the addition of 13 student-athletes to the program Wednesday afternoon.

"This group of players have all the tools we were looking for including speed, explosiveness, toughness and size," said Callahan. "We can’t wait to begin working with these young men in building the Monmouth of future years. This class is extremely talented, and collectively, they meet the goals that we established in order to continue to move the program forward.

"This was, by far, the most challenging recruitment cycle that I have ever been involved in," said Callahan. "Aside from the outstanding talent in this class, I am most impressed by the innovative measures that our staff utilized to create some normalcy in recruiting this group. From home visits, to campus visits to virtual workouts, the staff was on the cutting edge of recruiting during a pandemic. They all deserve a lot of credit."

The 2020 recruiting class includes 13 student-athletes who signed National Letters of Intent during the early signing period. Six total student-athletes hail from Maryland, three from Virginia, two from Pennsylvania and one each from Connecticut and New Jersey.
