This week’s “Turning Point Player of the Game”:

Middletown South and Marlboro met on the hardwood in a highly intriguing A North match-up on Thursday afternoon. The Eagles entered with an exceptional 17-1 (11-0) record and could clinch the division with a victory over the Mustangs, who came into the game at 15-4 (9-2). The fast-paced game was tight throughout the first and most of the second quarter, but the Eagles took a 52-40 lead into the locker room and continued to build on it during the second half. James Anderson heavily contributed to Middletown South's second half success (which saw them hit triple digits on the scoreboard); after a quiet first half, the senior guard exploded seven three's and helped propel his team to the victory. For his efforts out on the court, Anderson received a gift card from Turning Point breakfast, brunch, and lunch.
