Results from Friday's Shore Conference boys lacrosse action.




Brick Memorial 12, Toms River East 1

Senior attackman Billy Porter recorded his 100th career point by scoring four goals and adding four assists to fuel the Mustangs' (4-0, 1-0) convincing victory over the Raiders (0-3, 0-1).

Junior Gavin Murphy had two goals and one assist and senior Luke Vescovi won 12 of 13 face-offs. Senior goalie Chris Sayers made 10 saves.



Point Boro 9, Donovan Catholic 7



Shore 9, Barnegat 8

Senior midfielder Doug Goldsmith fired in two goals and assisted on four more to lead a balanced attack in the Blue Devils' (3-1) victory over the Bengals (0-3).

Gil Goldsmith finished with two goals and one assist, Ryan Morris and Jake Turner each contributed two goals and Jack Britton had a goal and six ground balls. Hunter Avallone made eight saves.

Joe Jinks scored a game-high five goals for Barnegat while Tristan Potts had two goals and three assists. Kyle Kessinger made 11 saves.


Red Bank 9, Lacey 5

Senior attackman Cole Smolokoff sank a game-high five goals while senior midfielders Brian Fagan and Ryan Gilmartin each had a goal and two assists as the Bucs (1-3) picked up their first win by handing the Lions (2-1) their first defeat.

Sophomore attackman Seamus Cochrane added a goal and an assist and sophomore attackman Dan Bonanno also tallied for Red Bank. Senior goalie Jon Pierce made eight saves.

Senior midfielder Ryan Mahon led Lacey with two goals.


Middletown North 11, Brick 10

Senior attackman Bryan Flannigan scored four goals and added two assists to go over 100 points for his career as the Lions (3-0) edged the Dragons (1-2).

Senior attackman Ryan Aker had three goals and two assists and senior midfielder Hayden Fairhurst finished with two goals and three assists for Middletown North. Senior midfielder Khristian Acosta and junior midfielder Brock Zenker also found the back of the net to go along with 10 ground balls, and senior Connor Hedlund had two assists. Freshman Alec Zenker won 9 of 10 face-offs and had a team-high 10 ground balls, and junior Anthony Manfredi made four saves.


Howell 11, Toms River South 7

Junior attackman Drew Bukowiec scored four goals with one assist and senior midfielder Nic Rossi scored twice to go along with four assists as the Rebels (3-2) downed the host Indians (0-2) in a night game at Detweiler Stadium.

Senior Jason Kenny and junior Nico Lorenzo each tallied twice and added one assist, and senior Zach Halperin added a goal and an assist. Seniors Chris Boncimino and Cameron Ayesh each picked up a team-high six ground balls, and sophomore goalie Nick Roberto made eight saves. Junior Coleman Chrzan won 12 of 19 face-offs.
