Welcome to the 2020 edition of the Shore Sports Network’s top plays, highlighting the most dazzling and exciting moments from Shore Conference football action, brought to you by Jersey Shore Institute of Health and Wellness.

This week we take a look at the top clips from Week 3. We can’t be filming every game at once, so if you have a great clip on Hudl, YouTube, Vimeo or some other service where it can be embedded, or if you have the raw video file, feel free to email me a link at bob.badders@townsquaremedia.com or tweet it to me at @Bob_Badders.

Now let's get to the top plays from Week 3, listed in no particular order.

Najih Rahman, Red Bank Catholic

The RBC defense forced five turnovers in its 21-14 win over Rumson-Fair Haven and none was better than this fantastic one-handed interception by Najih Rahman, who returned it 30 yards for a touchdown for what ended up being the winning score.

DJ Thomson, Keyport

Keyport may be 0-3, but Thomson is pulling in highlight-reel catches every week just like this great one-handed grab against Shore Regional.

Evan Travisano, Brick

A jump ball bounces off a Toms River East defender and into the air and Travisano is able to maintain his concentration and pull down the catch down to the 1-yard line. The 38-yard reception set up a touchdown that gave Brick the lead in its 13-1 win over Toms River East.

Xavier Hendricks, Southern

Running back Jaiden Brown and Southern's offense received plenty of accolades for the Rams' 48-14 win over Toms River North, and rightfully so, but the longest play of the game came courtesy of defensive back Xavier Hendricks on an 85-yard interception return for a touchdown.

John Volker, Rumson-Fair Haven

For the third time in as many games, Rumson senior running back John Volker scored a touchdown on the Bulldogs' first play from scrimmage. It would be impossible to verify if this has ever happened before but even so Volker is in some rarified air.

Jahdir Loftland and Ethan Capone, Donovan Catholic

Loftland had another big day on the ground in Donovan's 49-6 win over Toms River South, and on this play he breaks a 56-yard touchdown run with a pancake block by senior tight end Ethan Capone springing him free.

James Bivins, Donovan Catholic

If you let James Bivins get to the corner, it's goodnight. One of the fastest players in the Shore takes a shovel pass and goes 82 yards for the touchdown in Donovan's 49-6 win over Toms River South.

Isaiah Leeks, Neptune

The Scarlet Fliers earned their first win under head coach Shane Fallon with a 34-7 win over Jackson Liberty and Leeks had a big game on the ground, which included his 61-yard touchdown run.

Logan Peters and Matt Dollive, Wall

Wall's first touchdown in its 22-0 win over Jackson came when Peters dropped in a great pass to Matt Dollive, who went up and got it for a 28-yard score.
