Welcome to the 2019 edition of the Shore Sports Network’s top plays, highlighting the most dazzling and exciting moments from Shore Conference football action, brought to you by Jersey Shore Institute of Health and Wellness.

This week we take a look at the top clips from Week 1. We can’t be filming every game at once, so if you have a great clip on Hudl, YouTube, Vimeo or some other service where it can be embedded, or if you have the raw video file, feel free to email me a link at bob.badders@townsquaremedia.com or tweet it to me at @Bob_Badders.

Great Scott

Points were hard to come by in Barnegat's 8-6 win over Lakewood and Matt Scott had one of the few big plays of the game with this 70-yard touchdown reception.

Lions Roar

Running back Anthony Soto takes a swing pass from quarterback Nick Ferreira, but instead of turning upfield he pull up and fires a 45-yard touchdown pass to Matt Spencer, helping the Lions stun Long Branch, 20-14.

Driving 80

Toms River North's Dominick Jacob takes a pass from Jake Kazanowsky and does the rest on an 80-yard touchdown catch in a win over Southern.

Future Owl Takes Flight

Ocean's Trebor Pena, a Temple University recruit, shows why he's one of the Shore Conference's best playmakers on this 67-yard touchdown run.

Going Up to Get It

Not to be outdone by his teammate, Ocean's Chris Carasia wins a jump ball against a Neptune defender before racing 66 yards for a touchdown.

Meet Malik

Mater Dei's Malik Ingram did not waste any time introducing himself to Jackson Memorial's defense with a 53-yard touchdown run on the first play from scrimmage.

Another Weapon

You've heard of Malik Ingram, Clarence Lewis and Isaiah Noguera. Say hello to Mater Dei's latest offensive standout, wide receiver Naran Buntin. He blows the top off of the defense and Alex Brown hits him in stride for a 73-yard touchdown.

Escape Artist

This play went from NO! to YES! pretty quickly as Southern quarterback Cole Robinson escaped what looked like a certain sack to somehow gain 13 yards.

Tyler the Destroyer

Freehold sophomore defensive end Tyler Ochojski was a one-man wrecking crew in an overtime win over Freehold Township, including this hellacious sack, forced fumble and fumble recovery in overtime.

Like Glue

Words can't do this catch justice, so just take a look at two angles of this ridiculous one-handed catch by Donovan Catholic senior Andre Laney. Wow.
