Jersey Mike’s Game of the Week: Middletown South at Central Regional

Two teams heading in opposite directions will meet Friday night when Middletown South visits Central Regional in a battle of Eagles on the Jersey Mike’s Game of the Week which will be broadcast on 92.7 WOBM with a live video stream on shoresportsnetwork.com.

The visiting Eagles under head coach Steve Antonucci are a perennial shore and state power and after losing their Week Zero opener to a team from Pennsylvania have reeled off three consecutive wins by a combined margin of 99-14.  Meanwhile, the Golden Eagles are struggling after back-to-back 7 win seasons under third-year coach Justin Fumando.  Central is 0-4 and playing in the American Division has become a big challenge on a weekly basis.
