Senior Najae Hallenbeck scored 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds - including 20 and eight in the second half - and the Mariners (24-3) rolled through the Caseys (17-9) and into the SCT championship game for the first time since 1996 and just the second time ever.

Senior Jakari Spence added 16 points, six rebounds and six assists and sophomore Jaiden Fraser chipped in 14 points for Toms River North, which had to work-around a short outing from senior Colin Baker, who fouled out in under 10 minutes.

Sophomore Alex Bauman led Red Bank Catholic with 10 points and six rebounds while sophomores Cyril Arvanits and C.J. Ruoff each scored nine in the loss. Toms River North held Red Bank Catholic senior Kevin Bauman - who entered averaging 22 points over RBC's last four games - to seven points.

Senior Alex Galvan scored 14 of his 16 points in the first half and sophomore Ben Roy and junior Connor Walsh led a 10-minute surge that closed the game and rallied the Warriors (26-1) to a win over the Hornets (20-4).

Manasquan advances to the SCT championship game for the second straight season and will take on No. 3 Toms River North Saturday night, 7 p.m. at OceanFirst Bank Center on the campus of Monmouth University.

Roy scored 11 of his 14 points in the second half and Walsh scored six of his eight points in the fourth quarter, during which the Warriors outscored Holmdel, 16-4, to erase an eight-point deficit.

Holmdel took a 36-26 lead with 1:45 left on a basket by junior Alex Baker and Manasquan responded with a 14-0 run to take a 40-36 lead.

Galvan returned to action after missing five games due to a bruised shin and scored 14 of Manasquan's 19 points in the first half. He also grabbed 11 rebounds in the game.

Senior Jack Giamanco led Holmdel with 13 points off the bench, including a four-point play to cap the first half and send the Hornets to the locker room with a 24-19 lead.

Senior Pete Cannizzo added 10 points for Holmdel, including the team's first six points of the game. Holmdel opened the game with a 9-0 run and held Manasquan scoreless for the first 6:52.
