With the help of five home runs host Holbrook ripped rival Jackson 15-5 to win the District 18 Little League Tournament Tuesday night. Steven Davis, Gavin Bonitz, Dallas Weisse and Johnny Sefick all went deep before winning pitcher Jayden Toucher ended the game with a grand slam in the 4th inning that gave Holbrook a winning ten-run margin. Matt Potok homered twice for Jackson who was the defending tournament champions and undefeated before losing back-to-back games to Holbrook, whose complex is only six miles away in the same township.

Under the direction of manager Art Bonitz and coaches Ken Hickman, Mike Tamburino and Nevin Mann the team advances to the Section 3 Tournament and begins play Saturday in Freehold Township. Holbrook will compete with Freehold Township, North Howell, Bordentown and Clark with the sectional winner advancing to the New Jersey State Championships in Gloucester City.
