Hawks Earn National Ranking

For the first time ever the Monmouth University football team has earned a national ranking as the Hawks are 24^th in the NCAA FCS Coaches Poll released on Monday. Monmouth stretched its winning streak to five games and improved to 7-1 on the season following a 23-20 victory at Charleston Southern this past Saturday. The Hawks are 2-0 in the Big South for the first time since entering the league and tied with Kennesaw State (25^th this week in the FCS rankings) for first place in the conference.

Monmouth will host conference rival Presbyterian (3-5, 0-2) this Saturday at Kessler Stadium in a game that will air on ESPN3 with kickoff scheduled for 1:05 p.m.
