Central Jersey Group IV
(1) Freehold Twp. 3, (5) Princeton 0
Sophomore Jasmine Colbert assisted a goal by senior Nicole Whitley in the 52nd minute and scored one of her own two minutes later to catapult the Patriots (18-4-1) past the Little Tigers (11-5-1) and into the program's first ever sectional final appearance. Freehold Township will host No. 2 Hunterdon Central on Thursday.
Olivia Schwartz tacked on a goal in the 75th minute, which also came off a feed from Colbert.
(2) Hunterdon Central 5, (3) Manalapan 1
Mackenzie Mullins and Shayne Seffart scored a minute apart from one another in the first five minutes of the game and Sam Sanatore scored twice in the second half to power the Red Devils (18-4-1) past the Braves (14-3-1).
Erin Rotondo scored on a pass from Arianna Ferraro to cut the Hunterdon Central lead to 3-1 in the 53rd minute.
Central Jersey Group III
(1) Colts Neck 2, (5) Wall 1 (OT)
Senior Ali Russo poked in a cross along the end line from fellow senior Bridgette King in the 16th minute of overtime and the Cougars (21-0-1) pulled out a golden-goal victory over the Crimson Knights (15-6-1) to advance to the sectional finals for the second straight year.
Senior Amanda Visco scored the equalizer with 3:11 left in regulation, heading a cross from junir Frankie Tagliaferri into the goal.
Wall grabbed a 1-0 lead on a header by sophomore Amy Paternoster on a cross by Katie Hyde in the 61st minute.
The win was the fourth in four meetings for Colts Neck over Class B North rival Wall, three of which were one-goal decisions and two in overtime. The Cougars will hots No. 3 Toms River East in Thursday's sectional final.
(3) Toms River East 3, (7) Ocean 1
Sophomore Kylie Meola scored a pair of goals and sophomore Jillian Conklin added a goal and an assist to lead the Raiders (15-5-1) past the Spartans (11-10) and into the sectional finals Thursday at No. 1 Colts Neck.
Conklin scored 13 minutes into the game off a set-up by sophomore Shea Holland and assisted Meola's goal in the 35th to give Toms River East a 2-0 lead. Meola scored her second goal off a pass by senior Amanda Bruno in the 54th to make it 3-0.
Sophomore Sydney Applegate scored with three minutes left to get Ocean on the board.
Central Jersey Group II
(1) Rumson-Fair Haven 2, (4) A.L. Johnson 0
Junior Grace Forsyth and sophomore Sofi Giglio each scored a goal and the Bulldogs (18-3-1) blanked the Crusaders (16-5-2) to advance to the sectional semifinals Thursday against Class A Central division rival Holmdel.
(3) Holmdel 3, (10) Governor Livingston 0
Senior Hanah Lee scored two goals and assisted another by senior Gabby Bair to help lead the Hornets (15-6) to a win over the Highlanders (9-11). Holmdel will continue its Group II title defense in the sectional final Thursday at top-seeded Rumson-Fair Haven. In two regular-season meetings between the Class A Central foes, Rumson defeated Holmdel 5-4 and 3-0.
Central Jersey Group I
(2) Metuchen 1, (3) Point Beach 0
Carly Taylor scored off a feed from Taylor Hueston early in the second half and the Bulldogs (18-3-1) held on to edge the Garnet Gulls (11-5-2) and secure a spot in Thursday's sectional final at top-seeded Shore.
(1) Shore 7, (4) Riverside 1
Senior Shannon Bonner scored a goal in each half and the Blue Devils (18-4-1) coasted to a win over the Rams (17-2) to advance to their fourth straight sectional final. Shore will host No. 2 Metuchen in Thursday's sectional final.
Bonner's goal in the 29th gave Shore a 3-0 lead after a goal by freshman Hannah Birdsall in the 15th and freshman Frankie McDonough in the 18th put the Blue Devils up 2-0 early on.
Juniors Devon McDonough and Kelly Bolsch each added a goal before halftime and junior Katie Stephens joined Bonner in the second-half scoring column.
South Jersey Group IV
(1) Shawnee 1, (4) Toms River North 0
Sarah DeBarardinis scored the lone goal of the game in the 29th minute and the Renegades (19-2-2) held off the Mariners (12-3-6) to advance to Thursday's sectional final against No. 2 Eastern.
South Jersey Group III
(4) Toms River South 4, (1) Delsea 1
Four different players scored a goal as the Indians (16-5) stormed out to a four-goal lead en route to a win over the top-seeded Crusaders (16-3-1). Toms River South will host No. 10 Seneca Thursday in its second sectional final appearance in three years.
Junior Madison Meise scored a goal to go with an assist to lead Toms River South, while junior Mackenzie Ryan, junior Katie Hammack and freshman Alyia Canfield each chipped in a goal in the win.
(10) Seneca 4, (3) Central 2
Mackenzie Hoffman recorded a hat trick to lead the Golden Eagles (11-7-2) to a win over Central (14-6-1) and into the sectional final Thursday against No. 4 Toms River South.
Senior Alexis Jensen and junior Xenia Tchoudov accounted for the two Central goals.
South Jersey Group II
(8) West Deptford 3, (12) Manchester 2
Sophomore Brianna Carver and senior Halie Anderson each scored to give the Hawks a 2-1 lead, but the Eagles (15-5-1) rallied to knock off Manchester (12-8-4) and advance to the sectional finals Thursday at No. 2 Point Boro.
(2) Point Boro 2, (3) Cinnaminson 1 (OT)
Sophomore Devon Wondolowski scored two goals, including the golden goal with 25 seconds left in the first overtime period to lift the Panthers (18-2-1) past the Pirates (12-6-1) and into the sectional final Thursday against No. 8 West Deptford.
South Jersey Non-Public A
(1) Holy Cross 5, (5) Red Bank Catholic 1
Isabella Cuzzy and Morgan Morocco each scored two goals to lead Holy Cross (17-4-1) past the Caseys (14-8-2) and into the sectional final on Thursday against No. 3 Notre Dame. Sophomore Jyllissa Harris scored the lone Red Bank Catholic goal.
