SEMIFINALS

Thursday, May 10

At Ocean Township High School

1-Rumson-Fair Haven 19, 5-Ocean 0

The five-time defending champion Bulldogs jumped out to a 12-0 halftime lead en route to shutting out the Spartans and advancing to the SCT championship game.

 

3-Manasquan 8, 2-Red Bank Catholic 7

Jenna Harms tallied three goals and two assists and Bella Feldman had three goals and one assist as the Warriors edged the Caseys to reach the SCT final for the first time since 2012.

Janie Cowley added two goals and goalies Kate Montalto and Helena Morrison combined to make 13 saves.

Mackenzie Boyle had three goals and Lindsay Mazzucco made 10 saves for Red Bank Catholic. Abi George added a goal and two assists and Katherine Plaza, Kristen Pezzullo and Grace Gargiulo each scored once.

 

QUARTERFINALS 

Tuesday, May 8

1-Rumson-Fair Haven 12, 8-Red Bank 5

 

5-Ocean 10, 4-Colts Neck 9

Morgan Bartlett sank five goals and had one assist as the Spartans edged the Cougars to reach the SCT semifinals. Taylor Herr added two goals and two assists and Ellie Martel scored twice.

Ally Largey had three goals and one assist and Sarah Shaughnessy also had three goals for Colts Neck.

 

3-Manasquan 19, 6-Toms River South 9

Bella Feldman scored five goals and added three assists and eight draw controls to lead the Warriors past the Indians and into the SCT semifinals.

Jenna Harms added three goals and three assists, Janie Cowley had three goals and two assists and Harley Pilling had three goals and one assist. Hayley Petrosini scored twice, Audry Moran scored once and Kennedy Miller dished out two assists. Kate Montalto made four eight saves and Helena Morrison had four saves.

Emily Donzanti scored five times to lead Toms River South. Brooke Adams, Hannah Claus, Lauren DeRogatis and Jennifer Toal each scored once and Megan MacKay made five saves.

 

2-Red Bank Catholic 10, 7-Freehold Township 5

Mackenzie Boyle had a hat trick and one assist and Kristen Pezzulo had a goal and four assists to lead the Caseys past the Patriots and into the SCT final four.

Grace Gargiulo also scored three times while Abi George scored twice.

Michelle Pascrell scored three times to lead Freehold Township.

 

FIRST ROUND

Saturday, May 5

1-Rumson-Fair Haven 16, 16-Jackson Memorial 2

Cassie James scored five goals and Mel Guido added a goal and three assists to lead the defending champion Bulldogs past the Jaguars in the opening round of the SCT.

Chase Boyle and Meg MacGillis added two goals each while Kate Caruso and Gil Curran each tallied one goal and two assists. Allie McGinty and Sophia Passalaqua had one goal and one assist apiece and Mia James and Jordan Johnson also had goals. Sophia Bocklage made three saves.

Sabrina Chandler and Heather Devaney had goals and Mildred Trembley made seven saves for Jackson Memorial.

Rumson will host Red Bank in the quarterfinals.

 

8-Red Bank 8, 9-Shore 7

Meghan Murray had a hat trick and Skyla DeRosa and Madeline Kelly each scored twice as the Bucs nipped the Blue Devils to advance to the SCT quarterfinals. Claudia Kelly scored once and added three draw controls and a team-high eight ground balls and Maggie Davis had two assists.

Mary Kate George had a game-high five goals to lead Shore. Sophie George and Ryan Malfa each scored once.

Red Bank will play at top-seeded Rumson-Fair Haven in the quarterfinals.

 

5-Ocean 14, 12-Southern 3

Morgan Bartlett had a monster game with six goals, five assists, four draw controls and seven ground balls to power the Spartans to an opening-round victory over the Rams.

Taylor Herr added three goals and three assists while Ellie Martel had two goals, five draw controls and six ground balls. Kenna McGovern, Margaret Mulvaney and Elise Wanner each scored once and Shannon Ross made five saves.

Holly Yannacone scored twice, Alex Mattner scored once and Madison Caputo made nine saves for Southern.

Ocean will play at fourth-seeded Colts Neck in the quarterfinals.

 

4-Colts Neck 15, 13-Brick Memorial 4

Ally Largey scored five goals with one assist and Sarah Shaughnessy had four goals and one assist to send the Cougars past the Mustangs and into the SCT quarterfinals.

Kellie Russo added a hat trick, Camryn Allmers had two goals and one assist and Taylor Niedzielski had one goal, one assist and a team-high seven ground balls. Nicole Policastro made five saves.

Ally Freeman, Grace Guthorn, Caroline Kolbusz and Nikki Owen each scored once and Montserat Elizondo made three saves for Brick Memorial.k

Colts Neck will host Ocean in the quarterfinals.

 

3-Manasquan 17, 14-Jackson Liberty 7

Bella Feldman notched four goals and three assists and Harley Pilling had two goals and five assists to lead the Warriors to a victory over the Lions in the first round of the Shore Conference Tournament.

Maddy Stoddard had a hat trick, Janie Cowley had two goals and three assists, Jenna Harms had two goals and one assist and Kennedy Miller scored twice for Manasquan. Audrey Moran had one goal and two assists and Paige Harms had one goal and one assist. Kate Montalto made five saves and Helena Morrison had four saves.

Maeve Carney tallied three goals and two assists and Danielloe Marotta also scored three goals for Jackson Liberty, Jade Rivera scored once and Bailey Havens made six saves.

Manasquan will host Toms River South in the quarterfinals.

 

6-Toms River South 15, 11-Howell 9

Jennifer Toal scored five goals and added two assists and Emily Donzanti had three goals and two assists as the Indians defeated the Rebels to reach the SCT quarterfinals.

Hannah Claus had a hat trick, Brooke Adams scored twice, Elisabeth Rodgers had one goal and one assist and Julia Christopher scored once. Megan MacKay made eight saves in goal to earn the win.

Jenna Cholowinski and Olivia Manghisi each had three goals and one assist to lead Howell, while Erika DeSantis made 10 saves. Danielle Crimeni scored twice and Dana Shafranek scored once.

Toms River South will travel to Manasquan for the quarterfinals.

 

7-Freehold Township 15, 10-Holmdel 12

Cai Martin led all players with seven goals and two assists while Michelle Pascrell tallied five goals and two assists to power the Patriots past the Hornets in a high-scoring first-round game.

Kristen Murphy scored twice, Anna Leuci scored once and Lindsay Smith made three saves.

Erin Mendini had four goals and one assist and Sam DiMaio also sank four goals to lead Holmdel. Kinsey Clark and Kelli Ratowski scored twice and Jessica Boetticher made 10 saves.

Freehold Township will play at Red Bank Catholic in the quarterfinals.

 

2-Red Bank Catholic 17, 15-Point Boro 4

Kristen Pezzullo scored four goals and dished out four assists and Abi George also scored four times while adding two assists as the Caseys cruised past the Panthers and into the SCT quarterfinals.

Lily Salcedo factored in with two goals and three assists, Grace Gargiulo had a hat trick and Molly Kirman and Lindsay Mazzucco each made three saves. Olivia Bezzone, Riley O'Connor, Katharine Piaza and Emily Rogers each scored once and Mackenzie Boyle had three assists.

RBC will host Freehold Township in the quarterfinals.
