(2) Manasquan 70, (3) Donovan Catholic 45

Senior Georgia Heine scored 17 points and the Warriors (5-0) took down the Griffins (3-2) and reached the WOBM Classic championship game thanks to a dominant third quarter.

Heine scored nine of her points during Manasquan's 22-15 first quarter and netted six during a 25-13 Warriors onslaught during the third.

Junior Rylyn Orlando also scored six of her 10 points in the third quarter and senior Mary Elizabeth Donnelly scored nine of her 13 in the second half, with five coming in that decisive third quarter.

Junior Gabriella Ross led Donovan Catholic with 16 points, while sophomore Tanaiyah Decker added 12 and senior Olivia Conroy 10 in the loss.

(1) Red Bank Catholic 59, (4) Rumson-Fair Haven 21

Senior Justine Pissott scored 16 of his game-high 19 points in the first half and the Caseys (4-1) coasted to a win over the Bulldogs (1-2), punching their ticket to the WOBM Classic championship game Thursday against Manasquan.

Senior Ally Carman and junior Casey Prior each added 10 points for Red Bank Catholic, which took a commanding 40-10 lead into the halftime locker room.

Freshman Silvie Nitone led Rumson with 12 points.

 

Consolation Round

At RWJBarnabas Health Arena

(11) Wall 45, (10) Marlboro 42

Sophomore Emily Tvrdik scored 12 points to lead a balanced all-around effort that helped the Crimson Knights (3-1) take down the Mustangs (3-3).

Senior Paris Thorp added 10 points and senior Lauren Lacey threw in nine for Wall.

Junior Amanda Castro led Marlboro with a game-high 15 points and senior Dani Schlesinger added 14 in the loss.

(13) Middletown South 59, (8) Manchester 56

Senior Isabella Orlando scored 18 points on six three-pointers and the Eagles (3-1) edged the Hawks (2-2).

Senior Beth Rankin added 14 points with three three-pointers for Middletown South, which benefitted from 11 threes -- more than half of the Eagles' 20 total made field goals.

Senior Myah Hourigan led Manchester with a game-high 19 points and the Hawks came up short despite four players reaching double-figure scoring. Sophomore Devyn Quigley scored 13 points, senior Amyah Bray added 11 and junior Sadie Felipe added 10.

(7) Toms River North 52, (6) Red Bank 26

Senior Julia Grodzicki scored a game-high 17 points -- including 10 in the first quarter -- and the Mariners (2-2) doubled up the Bucs (2-3) in the final consolation game of the day on the campus of Toms River North.

Senior Jaclyn Benvenuto added nine points for Toms River North, while sophomore Camryn Gardner led Red Bank with eight points.

 

At Toms River North Gym

(14) Central 36, (15) Brick Memorial 24

Senior Nah'Meere Johnson scored all 10 of her team-high point total in the first half and the Golden Eagles (2-3) shut down the Mustangs (0-4).

Senior Riley Coltenback added nine points for Central, while senior Summer Castiglione led Brick Memorial with a game-high 16 points.

(12) Toms River East 47, (16) Toms River South 31

Seniors Kelleen Sullivan and Lizzie Gillen each scored 14 points and the Raiders (1-4) rolled to their first win of the season, which came at the expense of the rival Indians (1-3).

Senior Janelle Blaszka led Toms River South with 11 points.
