Middletown South 44, Middletown North 22

Junior swing Kayla Richardson posted a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds for Middletown South (16-4), which set the tone with a 19-2 showing in the first quarter.

Senior point guard Isla Brennan supplied six points, 10 rebounds and seven assists and junior guard Stephanie Mayerhofer scored nine of her 13 points before intermission.

Junior forward Hayley Stratton led Middletown North (13-10) with eight points.

Marlboro 72, Donovan Catholic 44

Senior guard Gisella Romeo put in 21 points, including three 3-pointers, to top the Mustangs (18-4).

Marlboro drained 14 3-pointers with freshman Danielle Schlesinger and sophomore Laura Morehead each finishing with 12 points on the strength of four treys. Sophomore guard Sammy Jay sank a pair of long-range jumpers to finish with 11 points.

Junior guard Paige Slaven had 13 points and sophomore guard Jordyn Keating scored 11 for Donovan Catholic (16-5).

Colts Neck 55, Freehold Twp 40

Junior guard Camryn Foltz pumped in 21 points and senior forward Catherine Gibson added 11 points to pace the Cougars (15-6), who established a 42-25 lead through three quarters.

Tanya Elsbree had 13 points and Hannah Orloff scored 11 for Freehold Twp. (13-8).

Holmdel 64, Manalapan 45

Olivia Palmer knocked down five 3-pointers en route to netting 20 points and Ryann Taylor piled up 16 points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks for Holmdel (9-12).

The Hornets used a 15-4 third quarter to open a 43-24 cushion. Carson Fontana chipped in with 10 points and four assists for Holmdel.

Cassidy Deaver pumped in 22 points and Lauren Bruno scored 11 for Manalapan (5-15).

Rumson-Fair Haven 39, Trinity Hall 33

Sophomore guard Grace Munt slipped in 16 points and sophomor guard Cortland McBarron netted 11 for Rumson-Fair Haven (14-8).

Senior guard Colleen Cusat paced Trinity Hall (14-7) with 15 points and junior forward Caitlin Wingertzahn scored 12.

Non-Conference

Raritan 50, Atlantic Tech 32

Jordan Hyman buried five 3-pointers on course to 17 points and Katrina Wojtowicz sank three jumpers from beyond the arc to finish with 13 for the Rockets (10-10), who locked up a berth in the Shore Conference Tournament with the victory.

Red Bank 55, Cedar Creek 37

Senior guard Meghan Murray delivered 20 points, five steals and three assists for the Bucs (14-7).

Red Bank built a 26-13 lead by halftime. Sophomore guard Caitlin Decker had 12 points, nine rebounds, nine assists and four steals and backcourt classmate Chloe Teter had 10 points, six boards and four steals. Mia Strand chipped in with 11 points.

Shore 47, Lower Cape May 30

Sophomore guard Madison LaRosa pumped in a career-high 26 points to go with six steals, five rebounds and two assists to lead the Blue Devils (10-13).

Shore grabbed an 18-8 lead after one quarter and extended its lead to 32-16 by intermission. Junior forward Savannah Notte offered nine points, nine rebounds, five steals and three assists.

Middle Twp. 32, Southern 16

Junior forward Kaela Curtin backed 10 points with 10 rebounds for Southern (12-10).

Atlantic City 50, Toms River East 38

The Raiders (14-6) had a four-game win streak snapped despite 16 points from Kamryn Lister and 11 from Emily Maire.

St. Rose 70, Putnam Science (Ct.) 66

Junior guard Brynn Farrell pumped in 24 points and senior guard Lauren Lithgow clicked for 16 to fuel the Purple Roses (21-1).

Sophomore point guard Abby Antognoli had 10 points and nine assists for the Roses.

Mainland 52, Toms River North 42

Senior point guard Brielle Bisogno dropped in 18 points, including the 1,000th of her career, and senior forward Jenna Paul picked up 12 points and seven rebounds for the Mariners (18-3), who had their seven-game win streak snapped.

Manchester 57. Ocean City 40

Senior guard Leilani Correa had an impact at both ends of the floor, complementing 18 points with 10 steals and seven rebounds for the Hawks (21-2). Sophomore guard Destiny Adams amassed 14 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and three steals and junior point guard Kemari Reynolds added 13 points, six assists and three steals.
