A North

Howell 60, Freehold 22

Grace Leary poured in 18 points and Caitlin Gresko offered nine points and six rebounds for the Rebels (11-9, 5-6). Howell grabbed an 18-9 lead that ballooned to 35-11 by intermission.

Jayna Campese knocked down two 3-pointers and chipped in with eight points for Howell. Freehold (3-17, 0-12) got seven points from Maddie Bideaux.

No. 6 Marlboro 63, Freehold Twp. 48

Sammy Jay, Laura Morehead, Jessica Riepe and Dani Schlesinger combined for all 10 of Marlboro's 3-pointers and 49 points.

Morehead, who finished with nine points, buried 2 of her 3 triples during a 20-12 second quarter that powered the Mustangs (16-3, 11-0) to a 37-27 halftime lead. Riepe counted four threes among her 14 points, Jay canned a pair on her way to scoring 13 and Schlesinger hit one and finished with 10 points.

Hannah Orloff topped Freehold Twp. (13-6, 6-5) with a game-high 17 points while Tanya Elsbree had 12 points and Maddie Garze scored a season-high 10.

A Central

No. 4 St. Rose 78, Raritan 26

Senior forward Makayla Andrews stamped Senior Night at St. Rose (15-6, 11-2) with 12 points and nine rebounds while classmate Brynn Farrell dropped in six.

Layla Laws supplied 11 points and Niaisya Ervin matched her season-best with 10 for the Purple Roses, who set the tone with a 23-6 start.

Holmdel 51, Monmouth 22

The Hornets (10-10, 6-7) zipped to a 15-3 lead in the opening quarter and widened the gap to 30-9 at the break. Ryann Taylor led 10 different scorers for Holmdel with 14 points. Leah Nolan netted eight points to go with five rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Ava Yeagle had seven points and five blocked shots for Monmouth (2-19, 0-13).

B North

Middletown North 55, Ocean 36

Victoria Palladino buried three 3-pointers and totaled 17 points for the Lions (8-11, 6-7), who built a 40-21 cushion through three quarters.

Sophia Memon gave Middletown North 11 points while Hayley Stratton and Ronnie Brucato each netted seven. Bette Bradley countered with 15 points and 10 rebounds for Ocean (4-18, 1-12).

Brucato also handed out seven assists and Memon clearend seven rebounds to complement six blocked shots.

No. 1 St. John  Vianney 76, Neptune 35

The Lady Lancers (19-1, 12-0) fashioned a 42-13 halftime lead, powered by Katie Hill, who clicked for 16 points, and Madison St. Rose , who scored 14.

Janey Bachman worked the glass for St. John Vianney, retrieving a dozen rebounds while Bre Delaney, Mikaela Hubbard and Christina Whitehead each provided eight points.

Macy Brackett led Neptune (13-7, 9-4) with 15 points.

Colts Neck 40, Wall 33

Trailing, 13-8, after one quarter, Colts Neck (11-7, 7-6) fired back with a 17-7 rebuttal to seize a 25-20 lead. Senior guard Camryn Foltz fueled the Cougars with 20 points and Madison Hunt chipped in with seven.

Nikki Russo had 12 points and six boards for Wall (5-14, 3-9), which got eight points Alexis Nerenberg and nine rebounds from Megan White.

Non-Conference 

Henry Hudson 39, Calvary Christian 37

The Admirals (11-9) raced out to a 14-0 lead after one quarter and staved off a furious comeback from Calvary Christian (18-2).

Alyssa Curry powered Henry Hudson, collecting 14 points and 14 rebounds while Ann McGavin also ended with a double-double, compiling 12 points, 10 boards and seven blocks.
