Asylum Sports Center has announced that Plaxico Burress will be appearing at tonight’s Shore Sports Network All-Shore Gridiron Classic and will joining another former Giant Ottis “OJ” Anderson in pre-game ceremonies at Long Branch High School. Burress, who caught the game-winning touchdown in Super Bowl XLII, replaces current Giant running back Wayne Gallman who was not able to adjust his schedule following Thursday night’s postponement. Burress and Anderson will be appearing on behalf of Asylum Sports Center of Wall, the presenting sponsor for the 42nd annual Monmouth-Ocean football Classic. The duo are expected to take part in the coin toss in addition to meeting with players and spectators.

Game time is 7 p.m. with the gates at Long Branch High School opening at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $10.00
