We’re back with another edition of Shore Sports Network’s Top 10 Plays of the Week, highlighting the most dazzling and exciting moments from Shore Conference football action.

This week we take a look at the top clips from Week 5. We can’t be filming every game at once, so if you have a great clip on YouTube, Vimeo or some other service where it can be embedded, or if you have the raw video file, feel free to email me a link at badders@allshoremedia.com or tweet it to me at @Bob_Badders.

Let’s get to some of the best plays from last week.

10. Tricky Titans

We start things off with a big special teams play by Keansburg. This wasn't a designed fake punt, but was instead sophomore quarterback Danny Vital recognizing a potential big play and cashing on with an 81-yard touchdown pass to Darius Moore.

9. Jake the Snake

There's blowing up the play in the backfield, and then there's this. You almost never seen screen passes get intercepted, so this is an outstanding play by Barnegat's Jake Schmitz in a 16-15 win over Jackson Liberty.

8. Tip Drill!

Just how it's drawn up in practice. Jackson Memorial linebacker Nick Tremmell makes an athletic play to get his hand on the ball and direct it backwards to a diving Leo Shimonovich for the interception.

7. Weekly dose of Naim

It's pretty much a given that Manalapan's Naim Mayfield will make a play that winds up in the Top 10 every week. Here he dodges defenders on a 60-yard punt return - his second of the season - in the Braves' 41-8 win over Colts Neck.

6. "He can throw it, too"

It was another monster performance by Wall senior running back Sean Larkin in a 27-21 comeback victory over Red Bank Catholic with 30 carries for 163 yards and two touchdowns, a game-clinching interception and this 64-yard touchdown pass to Chevesse Covin on a halfback option. As senior wide out R.J. Janeczek said after the game, 'He can throw it, too".

5. Awesome Ashante

Freehold junior Ashante Worthy had a career game to lead the Colonials to a 52-27 win over Monroe, their first of the season, with 288 yard rushing and 5 touchdowns along with 202 yards passing and 2 touchdowns. This 23-yard score was his best, as he makes defenders miss left and right all the way to the end zone.

4. A Jolt from James

Manchester nearly pulled the upset, but plays like this from Point Boro junior quarterback James Fara helped keep the Panthers undefeated with a 28-27 win. He ran for a career-high 215 yards and three touchdowns, none better than this 56-yard run where he puts his hand down to keep himself up in the backfield, breaks another tackle and is gone on a 56-yard score.

3. Ant Man is Huge

Lakewood's Honore Richardson has the nickname "Ant Man" in reference to the Marvel  character. He came up plenty big in a 30-22 win over Lacey with this 72-yard punt return for a touchdown. He starts out left before cutting all the way across the field to find daylight.

2. Magnificent Mike

It was a career day for Central senior running back Mike Bickford in a 47-35 win over Brick Memorial, so we'll go with a trio of his best plays. He did find the end zone SEVEN TIMES, after all. He finished the night with 363 yards rushing and six touchdowns on 21 carries, and hauled in a 69-yard touchdown on a screen pass. That's just ridiculous. Congrats, Mike.

1. Lombana channels Randy Moss

As soon as Red Bank Catholic junior Brandon Lombana made this catch it was apparent few, if any, plays would be able to top it for our No. 1 spot. There were some huge performances this past week, but this catch where Lombana goes over the top of a Wall defender for a touchdown is tremendous.
