Every week this wrestling season, Shore Conference fans will have the chance to vote for the Elite Sports Physical Therapy Wrestler of the Week on our website and decide which local standout should earn the weekly honor.

The winner of the Week 7 poll (Jan. 31-Feb. 6) Wrestler of the Week poll is Jackson Memorial senior Chloe Lawler, who won a Shore Conference Tournament individual title to help lead the Jaguars to the SCT team championship.

Lawler was dominant in winning the 126-pound SCT championship with all three of her victories coming by fall. She was one of six individual champions for the powerful Jaguars girls team, which cruised to the team title.

Then this past weekend, Lawler finished second at 126 pounds during the NJSIAA South Region Tournament to once again qualify for this Sunday's state tournament. She is a returning state medalist who finished fourth in NJ last season and will be looking to close out her career on top of the podium.

Lawler was the runaway winner of the Week 7 poll that featured some great candidates as she secured over 68 percent of the votes.
