Dixon, Curry Lead Freehold Past Raritan for 4-0 Start
FREEHOLD -- Senior running back Josh Dixon and junior quarterback Jake Curry each scored rushing touchdowns, and junior kicker Matt Curcio kicked a 34-yard field goal to lead the No. 9 Colonials (4-0) past the Rockets (1-2) to continue their best start since 2008.
Dixon scored on a 10-yard run in the second quarter and Curry added a 30-yard run in the fourth quarter to cap a 96-yard drive and put the game out of reach for Raritan. Curcio's field goal with just over six minutes to play gave Freehold a two-score lead.
Junior running back Derek Ernst scored on a 56-yard touchdown run in the third quarter that pulled the Rockets to within 7-6.
